WOLF POINT CABIN is a beautiful, privately-owned cabin on three-fourths acre lot within walking distance of Cedar Breaks Lodge off of Circle Drive. Secluded feel, yet not even one-half mile from Brian Head's main road, Highway 143. 1/2 mile from Navajo Ski Area and Snow Tube Hill, 1 1/3 miles from Giant Steps Ski Area. Approximately a 2 hour drive to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. Half an hour from Cedar City's Utah Shakespeare Festival.
Warm, inviting, and contemporary decor awaits our guests, in this fully-stocked cabin with everything you will need for a great mountain escape. Just add friends, come and enjoy! We feel that a mountain escape should be reflective and low tech, so there is no satellite TV or internet access. Cell service works from the cabin, and a DVD, CD and VCR are offered. Also, a full variety of puzzles and games are waiting for you! Four-wheel drive suggested, essential in snow season.
NOTE: Snow plowing is done by a private company. During periods of heavy snowfall we can't guarantee when the plow will arrive. In heavy snow storms, we ask for your patience and understanding if the snow plow arrives late in the day. NO SMOKING inside the cabin, PLEASE!

Creating Wolf Point Cabin has been a passion of ours. My wife Anita and I bought the land in the fall of 1998. We began construction the next summer and by early 2000 had it completed. We did much of the work ourselves, including designing the floor plan. After hiring a contractor to build the shell, Anita and I finished it from bare drywall, including the slate and wood flooring and mosaic tile work on the kitchen breakfast bar. We were a bit reluctant to offer it for rent, but soon discovered that people respect what we've accomplished and feel the good energy there! It's very rewarding reading our guestbook and realizing that people enjoy it as much as we do. We invite you to discover Wolf Point for yourselves! Enjoy, -Ron & Anita
Ron purchased this Cabin in 1998
Why Ron chose Brian Head
Brian Head offers the alpine terrain we love, an escape from the summer heat and a chance to get back to nature.
What makes this Cabin unique
The bird and squirrel shows on the front deck are always entertaining! Grilling and eating out on the deck in the summer and fall, enjoying the company of friends, and snow tubing in the winter makes for some good memories.

Cozy and spacious getaway
Ron's cabin was fantastic, very roomy, beautiful views and close to everything up on the mountain. The deck around the cabin is so nice to take pictures on and we enjoyed the game table. Fireplace is in a great location in the home and plenty of firewood is provided. Home came fully equipped. We really had a great time in this home, very warm and inviting. Ron was easy to work with as well.
Thanks JJ, it was a pleasure hosting your group. So glad to hear you enjoyed Wolf Point! Appreciate the kind review. -Ron & Anita
We definitely enjoyed our holiday stay at your beautiful home! The fireplace was so cozy and the view from the wrap around deck was awesome. Pipper got to play in the snow for the first time and had lots of fun. We all were very comfortable. The only downside, if any, is that the cookware was quite worn, especially the frying pan. Other than that, all was wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your home!
We stayed here for a snowboarding weekend at Brian Head and loved it. The cabin is spacious and well appointed. The kitchen is great and has everything you need to cook meals: pots, pans, utensils, can openers, tons of dishes. Not a lot of tupperware so bring some of your own if you want it for leftovers. No dishwasher. The downstairs is a big open floorplan with the kitchen, dining area, couches and fireplace. There's one bedroom downstairs and one bedroom plus a loft upstairs. There were only two of us plus our two dogs so we stayed downstairs the whole time. The dogs wouldn't have been able to get up and down the staircase (it's a spiral staircase). Might be a little difficult to get luggage up and down too. There was fresh snow the few days before we arrived but we were able to get to the cabin fine in our all-wheel drive SUV without the need for chains. The driveway wasn't plowed when we arrived but we managed to get up it on our second try. It's a little steep and there's a turn in the middle. I think 4x4 would be needed if there was heavy snowfall. The cabin is very private. We played outside with the dogs and had all the window shades open and never saw another soul. It's tucked away nicely. We would definitely rent this cabin again.
Very cozy, well located cabin with gorgeous view
We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin! The layout was perfect for our family of 5 plus two dogs. This home is very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ample blankets and a cozy fireplace kept us warm. We had breakfast and dinner at the house daily. Kitchen is well stocked. The property enjoys a gorgeous view! There is ample space around the house for the kids and dogs to play and sled. We were lucky enough to get a good amount of snow during our stay. The lifts are just a couple minutes from the house. We went snowboarding two of our three days there. Excellent conditions! The house is very quiet and secluded. We played in the snow around the house daily and never saw anyone else. It's still close to everything you need with a little store just up the road and the lifts and lodges just a few minutes drive. Can't wait to return!
Sounds like you and the family had an amazing time. So glad you enjoyed our mountain getaway. We look forward to hosting you again! -Ron & Anita
Beautiful mountain home with stunning views, cozy and cute decor and fabulous bird watching
Wolf Point Cabin was an amazing ski vacation for our group, 4 adults, a baby and a pup. Owners were great with responding and helping us check in early. 4 wheel drive is definitely a must In the snow, as the cabin is tucked away amongst the trees providing privacy. We had an amazing time drinking hot cocoa by the fire after a day at the mountain, playing board games, making breakfast and watching the beautiful birds at the feeders. Dog friendly and baby perfect cabin for good times near good skiing. Thank you Wolf Point!!!
Thanks for the nice review, so glad you enjoyed Wolf Point. And thanks for taking good care of our place during your stay. -Anita & Ron
Our Best Fourth of July Weekend
This cabin exceeded our expectations. We wanted a quick getaway from the heat of Las Vegas for Independence Day weekend and to meet up with friends who live in Northern Utah. We were not prepared for how beautiful the scenery would be, especially from the wrap-around deck. We loved all the outdoor space and saw birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and were able to watch shooting stars each evening. The indoor space was also welcoming and spacious. The windows are huge and provide spectacular views. The only tricky thing about the cabin was to navigate was the stairs (the master bedroom is located upstairs). The stairs are windy and steep, so our friends who shared the cabin with us left their luggage on the main level during out stay. The space upstairs is lovely, it can just be tricky to get to. (This serves more as a warning in case you are planning on taking elderly guests or those with mobility issues to this location.) There is also another bedroom on the main level where my husband and I stayed, and it was great with a comfortable bed. There were a lot of cobwebs and spiders, which is expected for this area; but it seems like the cleaning service needs to give certain areas a once-over before guests arrive. There is also no dishwasher, so be aware when making a menu plan. We cooked all of our breakfasts and dinners here, and other than lack of dishwasher, the kitchen is ideal. We loved having easy access to Brian Head and the nearby national parks. If you're ever in the Brian Head area over the 4th, be sure and drive to the resort area and watch the fireworks. The show is unparalleled. Ron was responsive to our requests , was in constant communication with us, and confirmed a quote for us in a timely fashion. All in all, we can't wait to go back and stay here again. You won't get better scenery for the price.
