Beautiful home and location
This is a beautiful home with a gorgeous location on the Sacramento River.
Easter Rodeo Weekend
Had Family coming from all different parts and wasn’t sure about this place as we got off the highway, but once we rolled up to the house, wow! So beautiful! The grounds were awesome and the house really was amazing! Loved the back patio and the Kitchen! Hot tub is huge and relaxing. We hit golf balls and the kids went to find them like a Easter egg hunt.
We are definitely coming back!
Gorgeous Property in a Secluded Area
The property rests on a nice plot of land adjacent to the Sacramento River. The house is very well kept, clean and orderly. Terry was very accommodating and even provided us with various fresh fruits specifically for my parents whom were visiting from Japan. Would definitely recommend this vacation rental if you are looking for something in the area.
Wonderful Home and Host!
Wonderful peaceful home with all the amenities a family could ask for. Terry was exceptionally helpful and welcoming to our families! He went above and beyond to make sure that the home was peaceful and serene for our visit and provided us with extra comfort by leaving us with just the right "touches of home" when we arrived! He quickly answered any questions that we had and went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect. Home was excellent, well furnished, perfect location for families and quiet get-away's. Place was spotless and grounds were perfect. We all wished we could stay there longer! Looking forward to staying there again in the future! Thank you Terry for everything!
Idyllic setting, spacious and comfortable home
We stayed here for our daughter's graduation, and found the home to accommodate all our needs - large groups, small conversations, walks along the river and bike trips. The kitchen is well-equipped, and beds are very comfortable. Six miles to town make shopping easy, but when you're there it's like the world is very far away. We'll be back!
Spectacular home and location!
Roomy, elegant, and Terry was very helpful with any questions. We hope to stay again next trip!
Within minutes of the property you will find trophy trout fishing and salmon run in the Sacramento River Bend, 25 miles of trails for horseback riding and mountain biking along with wildlife such as river otters, beavers, herons, osprey, bald eagles, deer, wild pigs and many more on thousands of acres of BLM land. Other nearby attractions and activities include world class fishing, water skiing, wake-boarding, tubing and jet skiing, boating, house boating, camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, paddleboarding, horseback riding, bird-watching and championship golfing – all on or around Lake Almanor, Lake Shasta and Whiskeytown Lake.
Looking for natural wonders, you will discover the wonder and mysteries of volcanoes and steaming fumaroles in Lassen Volcanic National Park, the network of caves made entirely of limestone and a wide variety of rock formations in Lake Shasta Caverns, and the magnificent Burney Falls that was once declared by President Theodore Roosevelt as “the Eighth Wonder of the World”. There are manmade wonders too. Only 32 miles from the Tuscan River Ranch is Sundial Bridge, a functional work of art and a technical marvel as well. For a day trip, you can visit Napa Valley, one of the world’s premier viticultural regions and famous for its prized Cabernet Sauvignon. Find world class restaurants, take a hot air balloon ride or go on a wine tour. Enjoy the Napa Valley Wine Train for a memorable experience that echoes the glory days of train travel, with fine dining service, multiple course meals, Napa Valley scenery and ultimate relaxation aboard exquisitely restored vintage rail cars. And nearby Napa is Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, a 135-acre animal theme park. You can also enjoy downhill skiing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snow tubing/sledding, snowmobiling or just throwing snowballs with your family at both Mt. Shasta and Lake Almanor Basin.
