Warm and Charming
We stayed in Bryson City for 12 days after a very difficult time for our family. We needed a place to cook, wash clothes, and rest. The cottage was perfect. I was a little afraid of the hill when I drove up but it turned out to be no problem at all. After driving around to Bryson City and Sylva I found grocery stores and chain stores I was familiar with and was able to settle in for the two weeks. The cottage was clean and very comfortable for our family. We were greeted on arrival with muffins and a note. We were thankful for the treat! I especially loved the mornings because it was quiet and beautiful! The front sunroom with its small table was perfect for devotions and puzzles etc. Overall our stay helped make a difficult time much easier. The cottage had everything we needed.
Homy and inviting
We enjoyed our stay: The cottage is very clean, homy and inviting. Dana was very helpful. The kids loved the room with the chalk-board. Also, a great house for pets, the fenced area in the backyard was ideal for our dog. Very relaxing!
Close to fishing and good food. Me and my best friend and his boys had a great time. Thanks for a really nice place to stay.
New Years Trip
Great get away. Beautiful house.
The house was cute overall but not well appointed with kitchen items that were usable.
We had a great stay, nice weather and good hiking in the Smokeys. The house was cute and served our needs but I think it needs to be updated in the kitchen. The coffee pot didn't work and the pots and pans need to be replaced. We enjoy cooking, so the kitchen was an issue for us. With some updates, we would recommend staying. Bryson City is a fun afternoon and we had a wonderful dinner at Jimmy Mac's on Main. If you go, you should eat there. There are rivers everywhere that look great for summer fun-too cold for us at Christmas.
We appreciate the feedback. The pots and pans were purchased new in August. They are sufficient for basic cooking. There was a note left on the Keurig that it was stuck on a certain mode but when plugged in, it ran through several times with no problems. There was a 4 pot coffee pot that was also available to use in the lower cabinet.
