Outdoor palapa loft includes a half-bath, convertible twin sofa beds to sleep 2 additional guests, hardwood bar with mini-fridge and wall-mounted fan.
We are located on the main road, Avenida Revolución 66 Sayulita, Nayarit, approximately 2 blocks past the plaza. The AirBNB map and Google maps are pretty accurate for our location. We are in a white 3-story building just past the Hotel Oz and its courtyard restaurant.
For driving guests, Unfortunately we do not have parking. However, there are off-street parking lots on each side of us. They have been charging $100 pesos per day. Our guests have used them previously without any problems. If you are arriving late and nobody is attending the parking, you can park on the street at night until 8:00 am in the morning. We have not had problems in Sayulita with vehicle theft/break-ins. I park on the street frequently.
For guests who fly and do not have a car (which we recommend for people who just want to relax in Sayulita), you can get here by bus or taxi. There is a bus stop across the street from the airport under the pedestrian bridge. The bus currently costs $35 pesos for Sayulita. Just take the pedestrian bridge at the end of the terminal to get to the bus stop on the other side of the highway and look for a green/red Compostela company bus with Sayulita on the windshield. The bus stop in Sayulita is located about 6-7 blocks from our place on the entrance into town. You can walk from the bus stop following the main road through town or take a local taxi for $70 pesos. Official taxis all the way from the airport are currently $700 pesos and are located in front of the terminal. Uber is coming to Puerto Vallarta, but current feedback is saying they only operate in Puerto Vallarta. You can check on it. We recommend the bus if you are traveling light, especially during the cooler months (November - May). If you are traveling in a larger group with a lot of luggage, you might want to spring for the airport taxi.
The main entrance to our building is locked after 5:00 pm. You will enter your personal 4 digit code we agree upon followed by pressing the "kwikset" button to access the building and your apartment.
The Palapa Apartment is located at the top of the wood stairs at the front of the building overlooking the street. Hopefully, we will be up/here to greet you upon your arrival. If not, there is a "House Manual" inside the room which explains how to access wifi, program the room safe, get the hot water working and other useful tidbits.
