About Vacasa, Tennessee Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Cozy getaway for couples. AWD cars a must!

The views must be incredible here, we could imagine the splendor of spring, summer and fall. Sadly, we were there just after spring and could not see much. MAKE SURE YOU BRING AWD cars to the place. The roads are very steep! Bad weather/tires/traction would be very dangerous.
The home is cozy, cutely done, has good, clean utensils (the non-stick pan was badly damaged though), electric stoves and some basic spices to work with.
There is a pool table and some books and playing cards.
The view from the bath is fantastic. Make sure you plan some time for a good soak!

This was my 2nd stay at Wolfe's Den. It's a clean, well-kept place with everything I need to enjoy a few days in Townsend. Vacasa has been great to work with, too.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Wolf Den. It was perfect for the two of us. WE grilled at the house and ate out. Townsend is a great place to stay to enjoy hiking, zip line, rafting, fishing, exploring. There are some nice restaurants in the area and a grocery store. You have spectacular views from the house of the Smoky Mountains.....you will need all wheel drive and be comfortable driving switch backs up the mountain, but it is worth it to feel miles above it all. We saw deer and wild turkey around the house, and saw amazing sun rise and sunset views. We would recommend it.

My husband and I truly enjoyed the Wolf Den. It was the perfect mountain retreat with views of the Smoky Mountains you can only get at that height. The house had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We grilled steaks one night and the gas grill worked fine. We would recommend you bring matches (which we had) as the automatic starter does not work well, but once lit, the grill was great. The directions we received to get to the house were not the best. We strongly recommend when you get to the gate house on Laurel Ridge that you go over and take a picture on your cell of the map for the community streets posted on the board. There is a ton to see and do in the area during the day and then escape to the Wolf Den at night. We would recommend it and may stay again.

Great time on the quiet side of the Smokeys

                                  Arthur C.

The cabin / house was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the cable TV, WI-FI, and pool table. We went in the winter and the HVAC kept up with a 3 degree night. Also, Townsend is kind of dead in the winter, but we aren't into tourist type things. We loved our mini vacation. Just be prepared for steep roads and steps down from the roadside parking at this cabin.

We really enjoyed the cabin. We were celebrating our 25th Anniversary and enjoyed our stay. The cabin / house was very clean and well stocked. Great wi-fi and TV (missed our DVR though), and comfortable furniture. When we arrived, we were however surprised with the stairs. It's 18 steps down to the entrance. I guess this is why there is no photo of the front of the house. Another note - if you aren't used to the mountains, prepare for very steep roads in the development. And make sure your parking brake works well! A really good thing about the house is that the heat worked very well. It was 3 degrees outside one morning and it was comfy inside. Really enjoyed the no maintenance gas logs. The pool table upstairs was really fun too. We have stayed at many mountain cabins and are now about prepared for anything - glad be brought a few pans - we have never seen non-stick pans that were good at a rental. One the other side, you can drink the water from the faucet (some places we have stayed had bad tasting water). I kind of wish we had visited in the warmer season to enjoy the outside decks. I'm giving the cabin 5 stars because of the general overall quality and cleanliness of the rental. And the price / value was very good.
