WE OFFER 3 OPTIONS FOR YOUR RENTAL STAY: Small parties of up to six can choose to rent the upper level, parties up to 8, the lower level, or if you have up to 14 guests you can rent the 2 levels together.

Why rent a hotel room when you can stay in this lovely villa on the beach for less? Experience beachfront living on the Sea of Cortez at the water's edge.

We are located on the beach in the prestigious gated community of

Villas de Las Palmas, just 5 minutes south of town. We offer a spacious,

large home with private beach access and a single entrance which is then divided into two separate, self contained levels, one upper and one lower. Enjoy your evening cocktail overlooking our unparalleled, panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez as well as the town of San Felipe. The marina is located just one mile north, and is a great place to launch your watercraft or load your coolers with the local fishermen's catch of the day.

Each unit is self contained. The lower level has over 1800 square feet of living area, while the upper is smaller with about 1400 square feet. Both have two bedrooms with a full bath and each have an additional guest bathroom. The upper level has a queen sized bed in each bedroom plus a double sofa bed. The owner's quarters (lower level) is equipped with one king sized bed plus a queen sized sofa bed in the master's suite and a queen sized bed in the second bedroom. We have a queen inflatable bed that can be used for additional guests.

Each floor has a dining and living area overlooking the ocean, a

patio with table and chairs, and air conditioning, ceiling fans and

heating. Both have a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, blender, coffeemaker, and refrigerator with ice maker. We also have a water cooler on each level.

Parking is very limited to 2 spaces in front of the property. The garage is NOT included. RVs are not allowed in the gated community.


Two TVs are available in each unit and each TV is equipped with Netflix as well asa DVD player. We have loads of DVDs for your enjoyment. Each level has a gas barbeque, and a local phone line which may be used for local calls. We have a fire pit and outdoor shower located on the beach in front of the lower level. Soap, bed linen, and towels are provided. Bring your own beach towels.

When my wife and I retired we decided to become beach bums! We have lived here in San Felipe for 4 years now and love the peace, tranquility and the ambiance of our little town. I am French and my wife grew up in So. California. Our homes have included Tustin California, Lake Tahoe and St. Martin in the Caribbean.

Our destiny was set in 1999 when we visited San Felipe the first time. We purchased our lot on the beach that weekend, built in 2007 and moved here permanently 4 years later. We always look forward to entertaining our family and friends and sharing the experiences of living on the beach in Baja! We have made many lifetime friends down here and hope to make you one too.

So much to do in San Felipe….. Golfing, ATV rentals, Banana boat rides, flying in an ultra-light plane, the casino, and an art Gallery. The center of nightlife in San Felipe is around the Malecon boardwalk, especially on weekends where you will find Mariachi bands, food carts, restaurants, and lots of shops with traditional arts and crafts. Annual events include the San Felipe Blues and Arts Fiesta, the Shrimp Festival, baja racing, Carnaval, the Festival De La Paella, and the Chili Cook-off. We are also acquiring a number of good, trendy type restaurants with excellent local entertainment. For nearby highlights we suggest Desert Eco Tours, the Hot Springs at Nearby Puertecitos,the Valley of the Giants, whale watching and wine tours. Getting to San Felipe is quite easy. We suggest you cross the eastern Calexico border into Mexicali then simply follow the well displayed signs to San Felipe on highway 5. The roads are well traveled and in good condition. The drive should take you about 2 ½ hours.

If you are interested in the property you would need to deposit the money in our Chase Bank account. Call me when you are prepared to deposit and I will give you the account number. Upon deposit, I will then send confirmation of the deposit as well as our basic rental contract which you would need to sign and return to us. I will then send you directions to the property.
