Great location, cute place.
If you’re staying here to ski, you can’t get a better location than this. Incredibly close to the lift. The place has everything you need and the check in/check out directions were very straightforward. Cute place, would stay here again.
Perfect ski condo!
This ski in/out condo was located just perfectly with convenient parking garage under the building. The place was very nice with comfortable mattresses and a well supplied kitchen. The master bathroom has a steam shower which was so nice after a long day of skiing. We comfortably had two adults and three teenagers. The loft upstairs was perfect for the kids. We ate all our meals there and were very pleased with the user friendly kitchen. Early in our stay we requested a pitcher for making juice to the property manager and they brought one right away. That was so nice that they were immediately accommodating. It was easy to have so many of us coming and going at different times during the ski day. I’d definitely rent this place again! It was great!

Beautiful condo - but heating issue at start of our stay was a negative
When we first arrived we were very pleased with the condo. It is spacious, ideally located, airy and light with a lovely view of the ski slopes. No problems finding it or parking. The electronic lock on the door is not ideal - its tricky to use but not impossible. The temp inside the condo was 60 degrees. We turned up the thermostat to 68 (but which one to use? there are two next to each other no instructions regarding the heat - odd). After an hour it was clear that the heat was not going up. We called Kim (Pyramid Peak Properties who manages this rental) at 5pm. She said that she would call a maintenance person. No one came and no follow-up. Two hours later (7pm) we called the after-hours number as it was still 60 degrees in the condo and no change. We got Cory. He didn't seem to know why we were calling and we had to again explain the situation. We explained the thermostat was not working and with a major storm coming, we were concerned. He said he would call the "maintenance guy". Now its 9pm - still 60 degrees. Maintenance guy (from Pyramid Peak) came with a wall plug-in heating unit. When asked about the heat problem it was clear he had no idea. When asked WHERE the heat was coming from (no vents) he had no idea. He explained that he was "woken up" for this call (at 9pm?) so was clearly annoyed. We asked what would happen if the temp in the condo dropped to 50 degrees or below during the night? He shrugged and said he guessed he would get "woken up again." When asked if another maintenance person would be by at some point (i.e. someone who KNEW something) he said "you are looking at him." No joke. It was such a dispiriting start to our family ski vacation. He left and I knew we had no recourse or assistance. I considered giving this rental one star based on this stressful and inadequate response to a heat problem in the unit (BTW was all happening right as a major winter storm was blowing into Kirkwood).
After a terrible night of sleep and worrying about the heat, the heat started to slowly go up – (magically – we had no idea why!) around 7AM the next morning. At around 11am the next day REAL Kirkwood maintenance guys showed up and explained the problem (a boiler went out in the complex and the heat is hot water from the floor - NO ONE we spoke with at Pyramid Peak Properties knew this important fact nor is there any reference to this anywhere in the unit). I would have given this place 5 stars without heat issue - can only give it 3 stars
Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to write a review. We apologize sincerely for the issues with the heater. There was miscommunication on our part that resulted in a delayed response to your heater. We are reviewing our customer service procedures to be sure this doesn't happen in the future. We did work behind the scenes diligently to get the heat on for you, we just had not communicated that to you properly. Heat was fixed the following morning and you were provided with wood to heat the home, keeping the home at 60 degrees, which was not ideal, but did provide heat. Again, our apologies.

Very comfortable and very convenient
First time staying slope-side--wondering if we will ever be able to go back to driving each day to the mountain? Very comfortable condo.
Bruce, thanks so much for staying with us and please come back!
Cozy, everything we needed
Wonderful spot at Kirkwood! Plenty of space and great location. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, blankets. Felt like walking into a friends home, very comfortable and homelike. Would love to return! The front door lock was a little funky to get used to and the heat was not intuitive to use, but overall a really pleasant stay!
Thank you for staying with us! Please come back. Sorry about the door -- the keyless entry, while convenient, can take some getting used to.

This was a great apartment. I’ve stayed in just about every complex in Kirkwood and this was the most convenient. It was a great space for the four of us and I loved that we could come and go independently since it was right in the village. The beds were super comfortable and the couch was great for hanging out.
Thankyou for allowing us to stay in your condo!
Karen, thanks for staying with us. Come back anytime!
