The four bedroom house is fenced with 1.8 acres of land. It is surrounded by wood on two sides, the front faces a modest busy road and one side facing a condo complex. Sightings of deer, raccoon and opossums in the wood. We have been cutting the dead trees and branches, expect a messy backyard. An oasis in the densely populated Richmond middle class suburb neighborhood, the house is monitored by video cameras on each side. It is 6 miles to downtown Richmond or VCU, walking distance to restaurants and stores on West Broad Street, 4 miles to University of Richmond, 4 miles to Short Pump, 8 miles to Richmond Raceway Track. You may host a private event in the house or the yard for additional rental fee, but you must show proof of your purchased event insurance policy covering this property. For regular staying guests, I will contribute $30 out of $59 damage protection insurance coverage that you buy when you make a booking here. My contribution of the $30 is in the form of refund after your departure. But if there is a damage, there will be no refund of my contribution.

Thanks wow, so much revenge after I refused your threat email of asking for money. I think you will make a better home inspector than the one I currently use because he didn’t find what you found about my house — kitchen counter top falling?! You should have read my listing in detail and the contract when you booked this house. Then you would not have nosed around in my garage when I put “ do not use my garage, it’s for my personal storage “. You assumed that you rented my property, but I only listed my house for rent, not the entire 1.8 acres of my property, which is covered by wood. You have no right to criticize my yard, it’s none of your business. As long as I give you a clean house after spending 5 hours to clean. I have no obligations to explain to you what is going on with my yard, although I did mention to you that I hired a worker to cut dead trees since January. I am not surprised that you didn’t find my pots and pans because you didn’t find my house either upon arrival. I also mentioned that I like to keep the blue painting tapes on the wall, because I can use them to clean up the edges of the carpet where the vacuum can’t reach. Upon arrival, you already started complaining that you couldn’t find my house and suggested that I should put my house number on here or there... never have I met a renter who was so bossy — telling other people what to do in serving your own purpose. The signs were there before I bought the house and most people can find the house. I know some people like you who purposely took photos of the place they stay and try to get a freebie by providing pictures taken. You may want to consult an attorney before doing anything with the pictures of my property and the content of this review which is mostly untrue or you were already acknowledged. You quickly blamed me when you accidentally locked the lower lock. You demanded immediate attention on a weekend evening and I told you I couldn’t be back in time. For someone so demanding, I gave you a trick to open the door thinking this way you didn’t have to wait for me, now this has turned into a negative feeling for you too. I invite you come to take pictures of my house standing where I stood to see if I put on false pictures as you accused on your title. Just to let you be aware, landlords also give reviews of renters internally and can only be shared among landlords.
Fantastic hospitality! New appliances, 1.8 acres, accesible, secluded, great time w/ amazing people!
Thank you Charmaine for being very hospitable and being available for our needs. Looking forward to stay in your property soon.
Conveniently with walking distance to shops and restaurants. Use Skipwith Elementary School, Richmond, VA as location reference.
