Why Owner chose Saraland
The Delta is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is also one of the most threatened by industry. I bought this marina to help save it.
What makes this Apartment unique
You are close to Mobile and the Gulf Coast but in 5 minutes you can be in the middle of Forever Wild lands with some of the best fishing around. But it was the sunset that captured my attention. No where I have ever lived have these views. We are conveniently located to the Mobile Alabama Cruise Terminal and just a short Uber/Lyft ride away. Also you can get a 3 bedroom apartment for less than the Days inn! And our poboys are better!

Cigarette smell was overwhelming, but cleanish.
The restaurant next door had great food & friendly people. The apartment had an extremely strong smell of cigarettes but was fairly cleanish. For non-smokers, I would not recommend it.
Very sorry to hear you were unhappy. We encourage smoking outdoors not indoors. I have placed air cleaners/dehumidifiers and have scheduled a cleaning of the carpet. I am a nonsmoker and have not noticed a very strong odor of smoke but we did have a large group stay in the apartment before you as well as a 40 min firework show outside the apartment (at the foot of the staircase) sponsored by the City of Chickasaw on the night prior to your arrival, July 4th. There was a significant amount of smoke from the fireworks that we had not anticipated. I wonder if that intensified the smell. I will have signs placed in the apartment asking people to please smoke outside in hopes to alleviate the issue. I want all of our guests to feel comfortable but I again I am sorry you were disappointed. Thanks for your feedback.
Simple but spacious. It was perfect for me, and you couldn't beat the price! The folks are friendly.
I loved it!
Very basic, but it was fine for one night.
We wanted to meet up with friends and stay close to Mobile for one night before going on to FL. This is a great location with lots of room. The sunrise was glorious.
I was there for work and stayed a week with two employees. Just as advertised, rustic and charming. On the water, boat ramp, restaurant with the basics and some local flavor, host was the best. Only issue was low water pressure in the master bath sink. Other than that it was perfect, no frills getaway.
Thanks for the heads up. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I will get the sink checked.
Good time by the water
We enjoyed our time here. The people were very friendly and quick to respond to our questions.
Great location, beautiful sunset
Owner was very helpful. They were very friendly at check in and check out. Apartment was described as a fishing camp and that’s what you get. Very little water in master bath, drain unhooked from sink in master, open wires in kitchen. Master bed is almost on the floor. Making in some what difficult to get out of in the morning. Bedrooms and bedding appeared clean. Mattresses were comfortable. If you plan on using the kitchen you will need pots and pans to cook. There are very few provided. Fridge had to be cleaned before we put food inside. Dining table only has seating for 3. There is a couch in living room, but no other seats. This made it difficult for group to hang out together and play cards or watch TV. There are 2 folding camp chairs on balcony over looking the parking lot. There are several steps to get into the apartment. Just food for thought if stairs are difficult for you. All in all it served it’s purpose for a quick weekend getaway, but not someplace to spend a week unless you planned on being on the water except to sleep. There is a boat ramp right in the parking lot. It is only a couple minutes to Saraland and downtown Mobile was only about 10 minutes away.
We are close to Battleship Parkway, Gulfquest Maritime Museum, 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center, Exploreum, Mardi Gras Museum, Forte Conde, Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile History Museum and MUCH MORE!!
