RELAXED LUXURY! Built in 1917, this 100-year-old Mediterranean-style villa is located in the Fairfield Historic District. Built in the Italian Renaissance style, it is a 9-square mansion, and is centrally located to downtown, I-49, I-20, medical centers, shopping, restaurants, convention center, and casinos.
Beautiful accommodations feature luxury bedding with Tempur-Pedic memory foam for a splendid rest. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms with king-size beds, and 1 with a queen; and there are 2 1/2 baths.
Downstairs, there is one large bedroom with a king-size bed and private bath. There is also a large sunroom off the living room, with two twin day beds looking out to the garden. Spacious common areas have beautiful views and gas-burning fireplaces.
The kitchen is equipped for gourmet cooking with a Viking range, Bosch dishwasher, and there is a large laundry room, with an extra refrigerator. The kitchen is undergoing a facelift with new granite countertops. The laundry room has less than perfect wallpaper, please pardon as I am in the process of selecting and replacing.
The exterior grounds are lovely and private, with fenced side and back yards, a fire pit, seating and tables, lounge chairs for sunning, and a hammock for looking at the stars. The expansive driveway provides for plenty of off-street parking.
The villa is 100 years old and has many beautiful features, it is relaxed and comfortable. This property has not been updated with all of the modern state of the art luxuries but I believe you will certainly enjoy your stay. If you are looking for old world charm and relaxed living you will love the comfort of my home. The house has many imperfections which add to the interest and ambiance of the villa. The downstairs has 3 window air conditioning units to keep you extra cool and comfortable. There are some cracks in the plaster walls. I am always continuing to improve and renovate the property to make sure you are comfortable.

After 20 year career in fashion and interior design in the Dallas, Houston and Shreveport areas, I bought this beautiful historic villa and began sharing it with visitors from across the world! Comfy and eclectic!
We had 10 people staying the weekend for my husband's birthday! Very convenient location! Very nice home! Highly recommend!
Wonderful, Yet again!
Kathy is just the greatest! Always makes sure her guest are comfortable and everything is just right! The house is a beautiful place in a quite part of town, nice to get away from everything. Only a 2 minute cab or Lift to the casinos! Great place to get away but still be within striking distance when your ready to go enjoy Shreveport again! Wouldn't stay in this city any other way!
Thank You Kathy,
Love the ole style house!! Close to the casinos. Will definitely recommend to my friends.
And the home owner was always available for any questions. 😁
Wonderful Host, Wonderful Home
We stayed over New Years, it was below freezing outside the whole time we where there. Kathy went above and beyond to insure we where comfortable and cozy! When we arrived heaters were on and house was warm. She brought ice for us as the ice maker in the fridge was out and checked to make sure everything was good throughout the trip! Kathy was not over the top she did go out of her way to ensure that her guest (us) where happy and comfortable during our stay. I would recommend this house to anyone, and will 100% be back!
Joshuah, y'all were such great guest. Thank you for taking such good care of the house. Most of all, I love hearing what aa great time was had by all. You are welcome anytime! Have a beautiful life.
What a wonderful house!
The 3 of us came to Shreveport for a funeral. Yes, it was a sad time but this house brought a smile to our faces. It's very cozy and lots of interesting rooms and furniture. I am a native to Shreveport and have grown up seeing these wonderful old homes. What a treat to get to stay in one! I can just imagine how much fun it would be to stay in this house if you had a group of 6, 7, 8 or more. Thank-you Kathy for sharing your lovely home with us. Patty
Thank you Patty. I appreciate the kind review and feel honored to host such great guests as yourself. Have a beautiful life, you are welcome anytime.
Luxurious home in the beautiful historic district
Gorgeous home with huge rooms and king beds. Our large, extended family met there for Christmas (from all different states) and enjoyed our stay very much!! There is plenty of room to stretch out and a beautiful yard. Due to the weather, we weren't able to try out the fire pit in the back yard. But, plan to stay at this home again... when we visit Shreveport! It felt like being in a home, right out of a decorator's magazine. Thanks for the memories!!
