About Anthony Hager
I grew up in NorthEast Portland with Family roots in Corbett, which is just east of Fairview where my Lake House is. I fell in love with Blue lake a few years ago when I came across another home a few years ago. Now I have a family home on the lake and this one that I have chose to share with travelers who want to explore a piece of Oregon. Interlachen is a very quaint community where families have passed down their homes for generations. Once you experience the sunsets, the peacefulness of the area, and the home, you will understand. Blue Lake is only 20 minutes to downtown Portland and 10 minutes to PDX, so you can experience the lake life, with still having access to amenities of the city.
Anthony Hager purchased this House in 2015
Why Anthony Hager chose Multnomah County
This property has been all updated/remodeled. I have lived in Portland my whole life and wanted to purchase a home that is outside of the city with access to all of my favorite Oregon locations. Hood River, Cascade Locks, Multnomah Falls are all easily accessible. The Columbia River Gorge is an amazing place to call home.
What makes this House unique
This home has a great floor plan for entertaining. As you walk into the home, you can enjoy a view of the lake from the entire main floor. Every window looks out to the lake. The dining room has french doors which leads out to an oversized deck on the main floor. It is equipped with a beautiful patio set w/ Lounge chairs. The sunsets are absolutely amazing on all three decks that the home offers. The Hammock on the private boat dock is the perfect spot for an afternoon nap or to catch up on a good novel.

Peaceful & Beautiful Lake house in Portland!
This is our first time staying at the Blue Lake when visiting Portland. The location and this beautifully updated lake house offered a new and tranquil experience which we all enjoyed very much. The house is very comfortably furnished with peaceful lake views. We were blessed with great weather and hung out on the well furnished deck for breakfast and dinners during our stay. The owner, Tony, is responsive with great recommendations. My friends commended me for this great pick for our vacation! Thanks to all the great & helpful reviews! Thumbs Up!
Thank you so much for the kind words. We really strive to make our guests feel pampered. Keeping the home very clean, comfortable and well stocked is a top priority. Please keep us in mind for future visits. We love having great guests who appreciate the home as much as we do. Safe Travels! :)

Perfect spot for us
This house was lovely, very clean and updated. It was a perfect location for a sibling get together for a long week-end exploring the Portland area. It was only about 20 minutes from Portland city center so we were able to tour the city plus take advantage of a number of its' excellent restaurants and food carts. We also spent a day around Mt. Hood and a day at the ocean. It was very nice to be able to come back to this house to "chill" and spend quality time together because of the ambience of the location. Tony was easy to work with and even went the extra mile to get us some air conditioning as it was over 90 every day we were there--but the house really did cool down at night. We would highly recommend this place to others who might wish to visit Portland.
Everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Would recommend this home for future visits.
Amazing property with unexpected extras
Our group consisted of six adults who all came away saying that this was a perfect rental for our vacation! The house itself was spacious and comfortable. The outdoor seating areas, both by the house and on the deck, were great to hang out and share our morning coffee or evening bottle of wine. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast food so we didn’t need to rush out to get the basics. We also appreciated the basic supply of paper goods, soaps, etc.
The only ‘complaint’ was by my husband who just had to go buy a fishing pole to try and catch one of the huge fish that jumped high out of the water (he didn’t catch any 😊)
We all would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a conveniently located and superbly appointed vacation rental.
We loved our stay! The location was perfectly located between the city and the gorgeous trails.
The home is lovely and the view from the deck is beautiful! We had six adult family members and there was plenty of room for all of to spaul out. The kitchen is great for preparing family meals. It was wonderful to have the supplies provided for a continental breakfast! The home is clean, cozy, well stocked with towels and the beds are comfortable. Thank you!!!
Enjoyed our trip.
The property is really nice and clean. So happy with the
few days we where in the area.
Chinook landing is 1 mile from the lake house. This is one of the two Columbia river access points in the Portland area. There are salmon guides that can facilitate fishing trips. The home is 10 minutes from McMenamins Edgefield which is a restaurant/bar/hotel/concert venue. Also close to Troutdale outlet Mall, Salty's on the Columbia is a waterfront restaurant with great seafood/brunch/happy hour. Multnomah Falls is 20 minutes down the 84 Freeway, Cascade Locks is 40 minutes and Hood River is about an hour away east. Fairview is along the Columbia River and the gateway to the beautiful Columbia River Gorge
