.......This 1899 Victorian Row House was built for a prominent Denver physician as a gift to his 2 daughters.

It's perfectly charming, beautiful and bright..... with a super location to boot. Easy access to downtown Denver, the State Capital, 16th Street Mall, Convention Center, Pepsi Center, Sports Authority Field, Coors Field and Cherry Creek Mall.

Our home is located in Capital Hill, Denver, voted one of the 10 most beautiful neighborhoods in the US. This neighborhood is electric and colorful and one of the most vibrant and convenient locations in all of Denver, with a walk score of 96, which is a walkers paradise.

Markets.....Natural Grocers is 5 blocks away...... Whole Foods market is only 6 blocks, King Scoopers is 8 blocks away as is Trader Joe's........ Located on historic Pearl St. the home is modern and fun. Attractions are also a short walk.... (5 blocks) to the State Capital building and 16th Street Mall (6 blocks) puts you in the middle of downtown. ….less than 3 miles from any of Denver's sporting venues.....Pepsi Center, Sports Authority Field and Coors Field. The free 16th Street Mall shuttle continues through downtown Denver to Union Station. Everything Denver has to offer is within a 3 mile radius of the home..(not everything but pretty close).

Outside amenities include a spacious second floor deck, backyard patio and pergola with led lights, gas BBQ and enough space to enjoy great meals. Leave the blinds open and enjoy the beauty of the neighborhood. The street is filled with an urban mix of mansions, condos and apartment complexes. Very eclectic which is what we love about the neighborhood. You won't be disappointed with this home for your visit to Denver.

The home has an open floor plan (approximately 2300sf) that flows with warmth and natural light. Recent updates keep the original architecture of the home but have added some modern conveniences. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor (queen, queen and a full bed...all with ceiling fans). The first bedroom is located at the front of the house with views of historic Pearl St. The sitting area in the turret is perfect for taking in a good book, a nap or watching the street below. Also a small library book shelf, flat screen TV and fireplace. Bedroom 2 sits in the middle of the home, and has a flat screen TV. Bedroom 3 (on the opposite end of the home) has an antique iron full size bed and a nice private deck with views of the mountains and local neighborhood.

The lower level bedroom has a queen size bed, private bathroom, fireplace and a flat screen TV. Please note this home is 117 years old, and the stairs to the living space in the basement were built a bit steep.....but normal for the period.

This home has 2.5 bathrooms.....1 bathroom on the upper level, 1 bathroom on the lower level and a 1/2 bath on the main level......a very convenient amenity for a classic Victorian. Another great amenity is the whole house humidifier, which adds moisture to the air conditioning and forced air heat.

The living area is completely comfortable with period gas coal basket, LCD flat screen TV, DVR, stereo(with iPod connection) and many books and magazines for reading pleasure.

The front porch has a 2 person bistro table and chairs for street viewing, morning coffee or afternoon beverage.

All linens, towels, toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The gourmet kitchen is open and spacious with plenty of room to relax, entertain or just enjoying your favorite meal. The spacious and bright kitchen has been outfitted with top of the line appliances, as well as the formal dining room adjacent to the kitchen.

This century old row house has been furnished with everything needed to maximize relaxation and comfort. The airy flow of the home's layout adds to the charm and comfort. The original Victorian details have been maintained with beautiful hardwood floors, old world craftsmanship and period details are a stand out.

The home has, four (4) Flat Screen HD TV’s, Cable and WiFi............. -------------------

Everything has been thought of to make your stay one of ease, comfort and warmth.

Any occupancy of more than 6 persons will be grounds for immediate cancellation (unless previous approval has been given when making the reservation) vacancy of the home and no monies refunded.

Beautiful home and wonderful location

My husband and I rented this charming home for a reunion weekend with our three adult children. We put the three "kids" upstairs and gladly took the basement room with a private bath. Everything was very well appointed, from the kitchen to each and every bedroom. The decor was fun, eclectic and charming! This is a great neighborhood, we especially liked the record store and the used book store. Walking distance to the 16th St. Mall and the Fillmore theater was a bonus. We would love to stay here again sometime!

Great place

This house was perfect. Very clean, with tons of supplies, and great patio. The location cannot be beat. Walking distance to most Denver hot spots or a short ride share. The host, Ed, was very accommodating to me and my guest. Our stay made for a memorable 30th birthday for me and my friends.

Great downtown location

If you are looking for a well maintained, nicely furnished and stocked house on a quiet street in a convenient downtown Capitol Hill location, this is it. The owner was quick to respond to all questions and made the entire rental experience seamless. Definitely recommend this one (and recommend breakfast at Jelly Cafe right on the corner).

If you want to stay in Denver with a need for 4 bedrooms - then this is a great option. Parking out the back, great Italian restaurant on intersection with 6th(lots of choice), comfortable beds.

Thanksgiving in Denver

This charming Pearl street home was a pleasant surprise. One of those gems, you don't come across often. There were so many well thought out details in the home it was always fun to find new things everyday. Besides that it was very comfortable and slept six with ease. We managed to fit twelve around the dinner table for Thanksgiving, close but so much fun. I would highly recommend this cozy home and sink into Ed and Laura's creation, you will enjoy it!
