The original pass through between the homes can still be seen, though it’s been bricked in. The original arch for the doorway still remains. Our home is located in Capital Hill, Denver, voted one of the 10 most beautiful neighborhoods in the US. This neighborhood is eclectic, colorful and vibrant. One of Denver’s oldest neighborhoods with a walk score of 96, which is a walkers paradise, a bikers dream and a short Uber ride to everything else.
Markets abound.....Natural Grocers is 5 blocks away, King Scoopers is 8 blocks away as is Trader Joe's........ other close grocery stores are Safeway and Sprouts Market.
Located on historic Pearl St. the home is modern and fun. Attractions are also a short walk.... (5 blocks) to the State Capital building and 16th Street Mall (6 blocks) puts you in the middle of downtown. ….less than 3 miles from any of Denver's sporting venues.....Pepsi Center, Sports Authority Field and Coors Field. The free 16th Street Mall shuttle continues through downtown Denver to Union Station. Everything Denver has to offer is within a 3 mile radius of the home..(not everything but pretty close).
Outside amenities include a spacious second floor balcony/deck, backyard patio and pergola with led lights, gas BBQ and enough space to enjoy great meals. Leave the blinds open and let the sunshine warm the space and provide great neighborhood views. The street is filled with an urban mix of mansions, condos and apartment complexes. Very urban which is what we love about the neighborhood. You won't be disappointed with this home for your visit to Denver.
The home has an open floor plan (approximately 1800sf) that flows with natural light. Recent updates have kept the original architecture of the home but has added modern conveniences. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor (queen bed, queen bed and a full bed...all bedrooms upstairs have ceiling fans). The first bedroom is located at the front of the house with views of North Pearl St. There is a sitting area in the turret that is perfect for taking in a good book, nap or watching the street below. Also include in this space is a small library book shelf, flat screen TV and antique fireplace. Bedroom 2 sits in the middle of the home, vintage brass bed and a flat screen TV. Bedroom 3 (on the opposite end of the home) has an antique iron full size bed and a nice private deck with western views.
The lower level bedroom has a queen size bed, private bathroom, antique fireplace and a flat screen TV. Please note this home is 117 years old, and the stairs to the living space in the basement were built a bit steep.....but normal for the period.
This home has 2.5 bathrooms.....1 bathroom on the upper level, 1 bathroom on the lower level and a 1/2 bath on the main level. Guests will also enjoy a whole house humidifier, which adds moisture to the air conditioning and forced air heat.
The living area is comfortable with antique wrought iron fireplace with a gas fired coal basket( replicating the 1900s feel), LCD flat screen TV, DVR, stereo(with iPod connection) and many books and magazines for reading pleasure.
The front porch has a 2 person bistro table and chairs for street viewing, morning coffee or afternoon beverage.
All linens, towels, toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The gourmet kitchen is open and spacious with plenty of room to relax, entertain or just enjoying your favorite meal. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen.
This century plus year old row house is furnished with the needed amenities to maximize relaxation and comfort. The airy flow of the home's layout adds to the charm and comfort. The original Victorian details have been maintained with beautiful hardwood floors, old world craftsmanship and period details are a stand out.

Our home is not rented for the purpose of large gatherings, parties or event hosting. The general occupancy for the home is for 1 to 8 persons. Extra fees apply for occupancy greater than 6. Please confirm availability and fees prior to booking. As a courtesy to our neighbors we have agreed to this maximum(8)….. Any occupancy of more than 8 persons will be grounds for immediate cancellation booking reservation and no monies refunded....this policy is strictly enforced.
