Cedar Cliff Lake is a pristine, 121 acre lake, well known for fishing, kayaking, jet skiing and swimming in the Great Smoky Mountains. Our cabin sits directly above the public beach and boat ramp. Walk down the hill to pick the best spot on the beach. Swim, float or fish in the clear, warm waters of Cedar Cliff. Enjoy the sounds and beauty of nature. We have seen American Bald Eagles, cranes, water birds, beavers and multitudes of humming birds. Enjoy smores by the fire pit or relax on the porch and witness the beautiful display of glittering fireflies. Our cabin was just completely renovated and we have two kayaks included for paddling on the lake.

Beautiful & Relaxing
We loved our stay here, beautifully and very clean. The lake view from the porch was very relaxing. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We hope to stay here again soon.
Beautiful cabin & lake
We loved this cabin! Well stocked and beautiful setting. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the lake & get a good run with the provided kayaks which was a huge bonus. Fire pit was wonderful and we loved watching the fireflies come out every night. And only an hour drive to Asheville. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!
The Deck saved the Trip!!
We really enjoyed the cabin. It was very well laid out and we had everything we needed. The deck and the view were a savior because it rained all day and night the three days we were here, thanks to tropical storm Alberto. In addition to checking out Western Carolina University we planned on relaxing, swimming, and fishing. Since it rained the entire time our deck saved the trip. We enjoyed bird watching, the nature, and a few furry visitors from the neighborhood. We hope to come back soon and do more of the swimming and fishing we had planned on. Indiana
Very nice cabin & lake! Enjoyed our stay!
Had a wonderful stay at this nicely renovated cabin in mid May. The cabin is extraordinarily well kept, clean and stocked with many extras such as plenty of dry wood for the firepit, charcoal & lighters for the grill, marshmallows chocolate graham crackers for s'mores, even a bag of good coffee & cream in the fridge! All linens provided are of good quality and the kitchen is a fully stocked & organized dream to utilize. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our time at the cabin and playing on the lake so much that he didn't even mind his guided fly fishing trip getting cancelled due to excessive river water volumes. We had plenty of water time at the lake dock & on the kayaks. We will definitely be booking again!
Tuckasegee River Cabin
Well, it does look like a cabin from the outside, a great front porch with a view of the lake. Inside all the comforts of home: dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer and wifi. Enjoyed the fresh cotton linens, quilts and couch throws. So very quiet, the last 1/2 mile is unpaved road. Perfect location to enjoy WCU sports, the Smokies, and good eats in Sylva and Dillsboro.
We saw some fishermen and kayakers debarking and returning from the public boat ramp below. Our grandkids enjoyed making smores at the fire pit and kayaking in the lake. I would stay again and bring warmer clothes for April!
Very nice and clean has everything one would need.
