great location, great place
Stayed for a long weekend for ND v Michigan football weekend. location is great next to running trail on the St Joseph River. Exactly 3.0 miles from the Golden Dome and stadium. Were able to walk back after the game and avoid traffic. House is on the older side but decorated well and kept up and very clean. Pricing is much better than a hotel and the experience was better. The owner was very responsive. Great experience. thank you.
We loved this home and neighborhood, and looked forward to our next visit to South Bend, IN.
This was our second road trip to South Bend, IN traveling to the AYOP National Baton Twirling Contest. The first trip we stayed with a family who rented a farm house, and enjoyed our week long visit. This time around we looked for our own rental home to accommodate the five family members traveling. The neighborhood is so beautiful, and the house felt like we were visiting family. Our children enjoyed the front and back yard throughly. We took my son and his friends fishing at the St. Joseph River right across the street and to a fishing spot less than half a mile away. The house had plenty of space and everything we needed to make us comfortable. When we would cook in the kitchen or BBQ in the backyard, a family of dear would be walking back and fourth in the 1/2 ache back yard... simply breathtaking. Being able to cook meals in a spacious kitchen and sit around a family table is a great benefit when traveling as long as we did. The beds were comfortable, living area were very comfortable, and sun room was a great quite space to read and relax. There is so much more we could say about our time at this beautiful home, but I think he have shared the most important points.
Lastly, the home owner was very accommodating to our needs and really made us feel welcomed. We definitely would take advantage of staying here again on our next trip up to South Bend, IN!!!
We were pleased to host Amado and his family. We are grateful that they had a good experience, and are humbled by the wonderful comments. They are extraordinary guests - the washed the linens, swept the floors and cleaned the entire house - the housekeeper barely had to do anything. They left a lovely card with pictures of their family, which really filled our hearts with joy. Thank you for being the best guests ever!
Nice clean home in quiet area
We stayed here for the weekend to visit my Daughter and take in a Notre Dame football game. Susan was very accommodating. We arrived later than expected and she was there waiting for us. We had a motorhome with use and she help get my father in law plugged in to electric outlets. It was a short drive to campus with uber available on game day to take the stress of parking away. Thanks for the great weekend.
