My family of 9 was a little nervous about staying in a vacation home, I did a lot of research and heard horrible horror stories about vacation homes, I booked a lodge and received an automated email the next day advertising this home, I looked at the pictures, and l immediately was in love. When I called and spoke to Dennis, I was sold, he was so up front and open, unlike all of the other owners I spoke to. I called and cancelled my lodge and booked with Dennis. My whole family loved this home/ location so much it was truly hard to leave. Dennis thank you for the vacation of our lives, we will definitely return.
In my opinion, this is the perfect house in a perfect setting. A time to bond with family members, to unplug, to stargaze at nights, and to simply enjoy the magnificent nature nearby. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and have a real vacation. And what a fine, helpful, and courteous host/hostess they are.
We just came back from Vacation and we just loved everything about this house.
Dennis is very helpful in getting us settle in, even though we reached late 1:00 AM (night) due to bad traffic in Los Angeles. The house is very spacious and equipped with all necessary items. Kitchen is perfect for cooking. It was a great trip and I highly recommend this house for vacation. This house is the best I have ever rented.
My family rented this home for Thanksgiving and we had such an awesome time, we are coming back next year! In fact if we can, we will make this our new family tradition! This home is spacious and the view is absolutely breath taking. We were able to enjoy a great hike and take in all the fresh air. The kitchen was perfect for cooking up a feast for a family of 10. The kitchen is fully equipped and we didn't need to bring a thing. Love, love, love this place!!
First seeing this home as we drove up the driveway, was very exciting. The area is pretty even though its in a drought, and the victorian style home was very cute! Dennis was great at the beginning, making sure we had everything we needed. He was careful to make sure we knew they were in a drought, being from Nevada we were aware and experiencing this too. We know how to conserve water during a drought. We had let them know before arriving that we were having a small party for my dad's 60th birthday. Only 3 people came for a couple hours. But Dennis interrupted the party to telling us that we better not run out of water otherwise he would have to pay a lot of money to have a water truck come up to refill his water storage tank. He said this after he refilled the hot tub....Which smelled like cat pee. We felt as though we were being watched during our stay. We had planned this vacation for over a year, with our family and it was not good.
We had a wonderful time at this nice and comfortable house. The view is spectacular and there is an easy access to hiking from the house too. The house was very clean, well-maintained and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you Dennis for be being such a wonderful host. We would definitely rent this place again if we are in that area.
