    Brand new cabin in the woods, beautifully appointed with tongue and groove pine walls and ceiling. Barn board trip throughout. Kitchen with full refrigerator and electric stove with oven, microwave, brew coffee maker, pots, dishes, flatware, some spices.

    Gas standing fireplace. Air conditioned. Wood floors throughout.

    Master bedroom has standard bed second bedroom /loft has twin bed. New mattresses. Bathroom on main level has large shower. All bed linens, towels.

    No pets allowed.

    About a 30 minute drive to Appalachian Ski Mtn.

                                              We enjoyed our stay and the peace and quiet! My 10 year old son loved the trout pond.

                                              My only ‘want’ was WiFi because we couldn’t get cell phone service. But it’s good to get away from technology sometimes too!

                                              My daughter and I enjoyed a weekend getaway so she could learn to ski. This cabin was ideal - we were within 30 min drive of Boone, Blowing Rock, Appalachian Ski Mountain and West Jefferson.

                                              The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated the charming decor, wood craftsmanship, gas stove and loft - my daughter loved it!

                                              We can’t wait to visit again in the summer so we can spend more time enjoying the porch, fire pit and grill! Thanks again for the perfect escape!

                                              What a perfect little house. Very clean. The little details were amazing! We are planning to go back very soon. I would strongly recommend this house. We felt at home.

                                              We enjoyed a cozy stay in this small cabin. It it quiet and peaceful, but close to Boone and Blowing Rock. The kitchen was helpful, and the gas stove was wonderful. The cabin is new and very clean. Really great place for a couple looking for a place to get away and enjoy quiet.

                                              Very peaceful location. House had all of the needed amenities and then some. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Had the opportunity to meet Rex on our way in, and he was wonderful! It's clear that he and Christine take a lot of pride in the property, and want their guests to enjoy their stays.
