The curvy, red gravel driveway leading to this home is an anticipatory adventure and then, upon arrival, the setting is beautiful, peaceful, and private. Entering the welcoming courtyard is breathtaking in and of itself even before you stroll to the front door. Once you enter the home there is an interior hallway leading to different areas of the home from the inside of the courtyard windows. Very clever, very private.

The front entry hall with 14’ ceilings allows entry to a private 2 separate bedrooms with en-suite bath wing, another entry to the grandiose living room, and an exit to the grand portal with magnificent open views to the West for those gorgeous sunset views! The high 16’ ceilings in the living room create such wonderful open space that compliments the plaster walls, the art, the wood burning fireplace, and French doors to that large and generous portal. Plus, there is a large and generous sofa that accommodates up to 9 comfortably!

The living room opens to the formal dining room with private pocket doors, a bank of windows with forest-like privacy, dining that accommodates 8, and again, French doors to that large and generous portal.

The dining room opens to the kitchen, with a private pocket door, that is simply the most enjoyable, informal, gathering area of the home! Offering another informal dining table seating 6, two 14’ long counters with full under counter cabinets and drawers, 2 sinks, and 2 Miele dishwashers, all with hanging lights offering creative gourmet preparation for that gourmet meal. And that’s not all…. A Sub-Zero refrigerator 2 door with water/ice dispenser, LG microwave, double Wolf ovens, a Wolf 6 burner stovetop with grill & griddle, offering you every imaginable menu for those get togethers we all enjoy. And directly opposite the two 14’ counters is an open den-like environment with sofa and chair seating, wood burning fireplace, and wall mounted tv for gathering, watching the game, and good conversation! This kitchen/den room also opens to a private patio with alfresco dining for 4 and views of the immediate forest like surroundings.

Exiting the kitchen into the interior hallway with the bank of courtyard windows is a powder room, laundry/pantry/wine storage with under counter fridge/room.

On down the hall to the master bedroom with a small sitting area with a door to the entry courtyard, a very special doggie door, and then entry to the large, large walk-in closet with shelving, windows, and door to outside backyard. The master bedroom is private with a king bed, wood burning fireplace, and French doors to the outdoors, summer sauna, and outdoor showering area. The en-suite master bath encompasses built-in wood cabinets and drawers with counter space, separate his and hers sinks, walk-in shower for 2, and Kohler air bubble tub with windows gazing upon the forest-like setting.

AND there is access to hiking, cross-country skiing, 35 miles of mountain biking trails just outside the front door to the Sun and Moon Mountains, the Dale Ball Trail, Atalaya, Dorothy Stewart Trail, and St. John’s Arroyo!
