1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Located In The Heart Of Downtown.
The Pine St. Cottage, located in the heart of downtown Boulder, is meant to be a home away from home, to let you relax, yet peak your interest in exploring the beauty and grandeur of Colorado. Spend your days strolling the cobblestones of Pearl St. between beds of flowers in the Spring, under the bright blue sky of Summer, through the full fall hues of Autumn, and over the snow drifts in Winter.
Just a 2 minute walk from the Pearl St. Mall, the location of the Pine St. Cottage speaks for itself, but thats not all. Originally built in 1910, we recently renovated the space with the goal to rejuvenate and energize weary travelers! We wanted to make it comfortable, yet keep the design simple and aesthetically pleasing. Our Cottage will let you feel at peace, yet drive you to explore and experience; it will let you expand your comfort zone, while providing a cozy space to rest and recover. We provide all the basics for you: private parking, a full kitchen, coffee+tea, a bathtub+shower, hairdryer, laundry machines+soap, an ironing board, a hybrid memory foam queen mattress, full TV+netflix+amazon streaming, a Playstation 3 for those (very few) rainy days, a Pack and Play for infants, and even free local chocolate! Of course each guest has individual needs and we are happy to meet them. Let yourself unwind and explore life beyond the daily routine!
No Car Required!! But a private parking spot is available. If the Pine st. Cottage is your base camp, you will be within walking distance of all the world class dining and cultural experiences that fill the Pearl St. Mall and downtown boulder. There is easy access to a number of hiking trails, and a regular shuttle that runs up to Chautauqua (hike to the flatirons!) close by. No need for a car with easy access to the Downtown Boulder Bus station and regular buses to Denver, DEN airport, as well as into the mountains to our local ski resort Eldora. We highly recommend utilizing the Boulder Bcycle system for getting around town.
We are here to answer any questions you have, as well as to help make your stay comfortable! We are readily available and will respect everyone's individual needs and space.
Explore or relax, cook in or dine out, hike, ski, do whatever feels right, just enjoy!

About Philip Mohseni
I am a winemaker by trade and I love to travel and meet fellow travelers. I have worked at wineries from Oregon to Argentina, and New Zealand to the Netherlands. I am well versed in the traveling lifestyle and appreciate any time of exploration! I am based in Boulder Colorado now and I am happy to rent out my lovely Cottage for others to explore this beautiful area.
Why Philip Mohseni chose Whittier
It is the perfect size for a couple, group of friends or a small family. The location is ideal to set up basecamp and explore what Boulder, and Colorado have to offer!

Clean and efficient little, well-stocked unit within walking distance to everything great about visiting Boulder (including my son's place) - - and it was surprisingly quiet even surrounded by a number of multi-family dwellings. My only suggestion would be to put a curtain on the large kitchen door window for added privacy, especially at night. It looks like some of the necessary hardware is already on it. I would recommend the "cottage" to fellow travelers and look forward to returning myself.
Great location near Pearl Street Mall
We didn't need to drive at all to enjoy the restaurants, shopping & breweries. Short drive to the Rocky Mountains. This older house as been updated nicely. The old claw tub has charm but has high sides and the make-shift shower over it is not great. Other than that we had a good stay and would come back.
Phil provided good service for our stay.
My husband and I were able to walk a block downtown every night! Perfect location! The apartment is just as described and pictured in the listing! When we come back to Boulder we hope to stay here again!
Very nice cottage!
We stayed two nights at the cottage recently and had a great stay!
Philip was a great, attentive host. The cottage was clean and cozy and
the location is awesome! You are able to easily walk to the pearl st
area, yet you are in a quiet residential spot. It has a cute front
porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee and also has another outdoor
area on the side of the house with a table and a couple chairs. The
furniture on the inside was very nice. The kitchen had what we needed
for making coffee/breakfast and preparing lunches for hiking. The
place is small, probably best for two people, but was fine even for
three of us. There is a double bed in a bedroom and Philip set up an
inflatable mattress in the living room. There was not a lot of space
for that, so if you are three people and want to use the living room
to hang out you might want to deflate the mattress during the day.
Access to the cottage was very easy due to a lock box and there was a
parking spot right next to the entrance for quick packing/unpacking.
Boulder has it all, but in a nice tidy package! Boulder manages to feel small, yet have some of the best restaurants and cultural attractions in the world. It is a destination for many reasons as there is something for everyone right outside your doorstep!
