Great place to stay for the money
Great place for the money, and it was clean
Rental was OK.
The cabin itself was clean and in good shape, but there were a couple of shortcomings that downgraded its rating from us.
1. When taking a shower, the hot water only lasted about 2 minutes. Then nothing you could do would make it hot again - even if you turned the cold tap completely off. There were 6 of us in the cabin, so most people didn't get to take a shower. We sent a message to the landlord, but got no response.
2. We were upfront with the landlord that we were on a hunting trip, and would need an outside spigot to rinse our game meat. He assured us there was a spigot there, and there was. But there was absolutely no water pressure at it. We could spit with more force and volume than what was present at the spigot. We ended up carrying a couple pans of water from the inside sink to rinse our game.
3. This has nothing to do with the landlord, but the road back to this rental property was awful. I've been on better tank trails in the Army.
Tawakoni State Park is near by. Good Large Mouth Bass and Catfish fishing
