About this property

Our place is close to Kicking Horse ski resort, town of Golden, golf courses, hiking, nature trails, white water rafting, snow mobile trails, and cross country ski trails. You’ll love our place because the property is surrounded by crown land which makes for a quiet and secluded visit. Looking out the windows you see mountain ranges, Columbia river valley, and the forest. The property contains luxury log buildings full of unique one of a kind log home features.
The guest house loft is a self catered suite. Has a full kitchen complete with dishwasher, stove, fridge with ice maker, and microwave. Has a private entrance and includes 4 piece bathroom.
The deck has a BBQ and patio set with umbrella. There is also a fire pit and hot tub close to the deck. There is an outdoor sauna located in the forest.

Beautiful spot with great amenities. The loft offered a private quiet spot with very friendly and accommodating hosts. The hot tub and sauna were definitely added perks that made our experience relaxing

Luxury Lodging in Golden, BC

Cathy and Bruce are very kind, thoughtful and caring. The communication before and during our stay was excellent. Their compound in the forest just south of Golden is first class. The (shared) amenities include a hot tub, sauna, fire pit. outdoor cook area, and a separate bar/party room. Enjoy!

Magical

One of the highlights of our road trip. The only downfall was that we only had one night booked here. We would love to go back and next time stay a little longer to really be able to soak up the relaxed unplugged vibe at this beautiful property.

We both have been working in the oil and gas industry for over 30 years. Our dream has been to own and run a high end bed and breakfast. Years of dreaming have finally become a reality.

Why they chose this property

For years we have camped in this area. We fell in love with the mountains and the uncommercialized town of Golden. Canmore and Banff have become very commercialized and crowded while Golden remains uncommercialized and less crowded. It truly is the outdoor enthusiast dream come true. Some much to do in every season.

What makes this property unique

Our home is a custom made log home. Furnishings include custom made log furniture, rustic antique furniture, and new country pieces. The outdoor hot tub has spectacular views of the mountains and forest. The property backs onto crown land. Occasionally a deer will meander through the yard. While eagles soar overhead.
