Your group can find find tranquility and comfort in our newly constructed, two-story log cabin located in the heart of the High Country. The Holston Meadows Cabin is fully furnished, with 7 roomy bedrooms each with queen-size beds. 3 downstairs bedrooms have private baths with tiled showers (one bedroom and bath handicapped accessible).4 bedrooms upstairs share 2 baths (Jack and Jill). You can feed your whole group in our modern kitchen with with granite breakfast bar, and adjoining dining area that seats 25. The downstairs living space with "Smart" TV has a cozy gas fireplace to warm you on cool nights or mornings. Upstairs there is an additional meeting space complete with game table, "Smart" TV and futon couches. Of course, we provide Wi-Fi. Relax on our private covered deck viewing a forest. Lookout for turkey and deer. Open field area for football, frisbee, volleyball, or badminton. Parking is plentiful. Washer and dryer available.

Guest are invited to RESERVE Holston Retreat Center FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES prior to arrival. Reservations ensure that your group can be served with safety and competence to enhance your experience. FACILITATED ACTIVITIES include: use of Wildcat Lake or Lake Lyons (canoeing, kayaking, paddle boards, swimming), rock climbing, zip-lines, team building course, archery, and mountain biking. Field games, horseshoes, basketball, disc golf, and bocce are available. Please let Mitchell or Jim know ahead of your arrival that you want activity equipment.
Located only minutes from Banner Elk, where guests enjoy fine dining, a brewery, a winery, shopping, Lees-McRae College, and night life entertainment. Skiers will find us convenient to Sugar and Beech Mountain slopes. White water rafting, gem mining, Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Appalachian Trail, caving, are all within a short drive. Appalachian State University is only 20 miles away in Boone, NC.
