Not only do we provide one of the best vacation rental accommodation options at MountainSide and excellent service; we purchase yearly advertising subscription so that our guests are never charged a pay-per-booking fee.

The Chavanette is a great property at Mountainside. It has been nicely remodeled and features, new windows, W/D in the unit, new bath, kitchen, nice linens/towels (beach towels too!). It is an end unit on the third and last floor of the building.

It is perfect for a couple who wants additional room to spread or a family with 2 or 3 children. This condo is not recommended for 5 or 6 adults as there is only one bathroom and only one bedroom. Therefore, we will not accept such booking reservation.

It is great for an active and energetic family or group of friends who enjoy the outdoors and want to take advantage of what the areas has to offer.

The kitchen has , modern stainless steel appliances, a quiet dishwasher (allowing you to enjoy your time in the living room when in use) and plenty of utensils to make homemade meals or pack lunches for outdoors activities.

Beds are comfortable and bedding is new.

Added bonuses are W/D and boot dryers in the unit. You now can enjoy your days outdoors and wash and dry all your gear at night without having to waste time and money doing laundry elsewhere.

The deck is West facing and has a great view of the Ten Mile Range and Peak 1. (Gas Weber grill located on the deck).

This condo comes with a lot of extras: , free complimentary lift tickets to Loveland Ski Area if you would like to ski a mountain that is more low key, no cost in-unit laundry (W/D) and WIFI high speed internet in the condo.

The appliances and amenities are modern and very functional.

This is a 1 bedroom 1 bath + loft end unit (950 sqf) located on the third floor at the very quiet MountainSide Complex located in the Southern part of town.

The Complex was built 20 years ago but this unit looks and feels BRAND NEW. The MountainSide HOA does an outstanding job at maintaining the grounds, buildings and clubhouse, so you will feel that you are residing in a new complex.

Stay with us and take advantage of lower prices, a wonderfully well maintained and very enjoyable clubhouse (featuring an inside swimming pool, inside and outdoor hot-tubs, sauna and steam shower, racket ball court, tennis court (Summer only), a beautiful setting (facing the National Forest with no roads to cross and many trailheads to wander through on showshoes, xcountry skis or hiking shoes) without compromising on the comfort and the amenities.

This condo is managed directly by us, the owners. We make sure that your condo is ready for your stay. We are available 24/7 to answer any questions you may have before, during or after your stay. We provide information regarding ski resorts, activities to do in the area, tips for discounted tickets to ski resorts and other attractions, etc...


The living room features seating for 4. There is a small dining room table that you may unfold and use if you prefer to sit at a table. Otherwise, there is seating at the kitchen counter for 3.

Sleeping arrangement is as follows:

1) the master bedroom sleeps 2 (queen-size bed)

2) the loft sleeps 3 (2 twin beds + 1 extra twin mattress set on the floor in the back of the loft.

3) Additional sleeping options are as follows:

foldable twin size bed (sleeps 1).

Our rates are comprehensive. We don't charge a cleaning fee as long as you leave the condo the way you found it and the condo is well stocked with the following:

- new plush bath and hand towels. (laundry of one set/guest is included in the occupancy rate. You may use and launder as many others as you wish at no charge.

- beach towels for clubhouse use

-nice supima linens for all registered guests

-paper/cleaning products + startup kit to get you started (no need to go shopping for these items prior to moving in).

We accept seasonal winter rentals (from November until April) as follows:

$3,000.00/month for 6 consecutive months

$3,200.00/month for 5 consecutive months

$3,400.00/month for 4 consecutive months

$3,600.00/month for 3 consecutive months

$4,000.00/month for 2 consecutive months

Minimum 2 months.

Lodging/sales tax is waived for all seasonal winter rentals.

About The Owner

I grew up in France and discovered Frisco in 2001. Shortly thereafter, I purchased my first property there and have enjoyed it tremendously. I hope that you will enjoy this part of the world as much as I do.

Why The Owner chose Northwest

The MountainSide condominium complex is a very sought-after complex in Summit County. The clubhouse was completely remodeled a few years ago and is very well maintained and cleaned on a daily basis.

Clubhouse amenities include a pool, inside and outside hottubs, a racquetball court, a sauna, a steam room, locker rooms are fully equipped with warm showers.

The complex faces the National Forest and borders the bike path. It is located a walk way from Main Street (5 blocks) in a quiet location. Great for families with children, active people who enjoy the outdoors or retirees looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy the views.

What makes this condo unique

- Free WIFI high speed internet is available in the unit.

- The national forest and the bike paths are located across the complex with no streets to cross.

We had a great time this Fall exploring the area and staying in your condo. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated having a W/D in the unit and WIFI. The W/D allowed us to do our daily laundry efficiently and the WIFI allowed us to maximize our time in the condo.

The kids loved the loft. Spacious with a lot of floor space. The expanded modern bathroom was perfect for our family.

The clubhouse was a nice added bonus to the rental. The kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tubs after a long hiking day.

We loved the view from our deck and thought the location of this condo was ideal all year around. Ample parking made it easy to come and go.

Perfect quick getaway

We took advantage of the low rental cost to get away for a few nights this month.

What can I say? This property and the owner are great. The condo has a nice remodeled expanded bathroom, unlike other condos we stayed in at this complex. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen has everything we need. Full size appliances. WIFI was free, very fast and not shared with anyone. There is a chromecast on the TV so we were able to cast on netflix movie onto the TV. Sweet!

There was a boot dryer in the unit which we used every night to dry out hiking boots. What a great idea! There is also a washer/dryer in the unit. Other units we stayed in in the past didn't have any and we had to go to the laundrymat which took a great amount of time.

This condo is now our favorite place away from home and we are going to book it once more before the ski season is in full swing. What a gem!

Great location with great view

My wife, 15 yr old son and I stayed for one week. The condo was very nice. We were mostly hiking and biking around Frisco. The location allowed us to walk or bike to most activities. One odd item was in many of the outlets the top plug did not have power. An improvement would be adding room darkening curtains to the bedroom. The window faced east so it was difficult to sleep late when facing the rising sun. The kitchen and bathroom were very nice and everything was functional. The layout of the condo is excellent with 3 distinct spaces (loft, front room, and bed room). My son loved the loft and having his own space. The view from the deck is wonderful. We spent many hours out there. We were gladly stay there again.

Owner's Response: Thank you Kevin for reviewing our condo. The top outlets are actually controlled by a switch on the wall in the hallway. All floor and table lamps are also connected to it so that you can turn off all the lights at once by flipping the switch instead of having to turn them all off individually. This is included in the check-in information sent to guests. It is meant to be a convenience, not an annoyance, so we will make sure to detail this further in our check-in information. We are early risers so never thought about the need to provide darkening curtains on the windows, but we will definitely consider and see how we could add this feature next time we visit. Just like the old days....

It was so refreshing to be able to book this property straight from its owner and get personable answers to all my questions. The condo was exactly as described and we even scored free lift tickets that were provided by the owner at no additional charge.

The condo had everything needed for our stay including a washer a dryer and a boot dryer. Expanded cable service, reliable wifi sweetened the deal.

High recommended! By far the best service and best experience in this complex.

Great Unit!

This is a great condo! We loved our stay at the Chavanette. The condo had everything we needed, even a Washer/dryer which saved us a ton in clothing to take on our trip and $$ and time. The owner is chill and extremely easy to deal with. We originally were 2 and had booked a 1 bedroom but we added another person at the last minute and she moved us to this bigger unit with a loft.

Great property and owner! Condo was equipped with EVERYTHING needed!

Beautiful place, centrally located near town and resorts. The condo was beautiful and fully furnished with all things needed for the trip. The owner is wonderful to deal with and hassle free, and has thought of everything one might need and provided such. I will be booking again in the future. Highly recommend for family 4-6
