Why The Owner chose Duck Creek Village

What makes this cabin unique

Our guests enjoy all the comforts of home after their day's adventures. The cabin is on a quiet, woodsy lot with a fire pit for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows in the evening. We regularly have woodland creatures visiting our lot. Deer roam through our property, many species of birds eat right on our front porch, and we've even seen wild turkeys.

I have a big family, I wanted to stay at a cabin that would be very comfortable for my family. This place was AWESOME! it had everything we wanted. It was nicely heated, had so many accommodations, and conveniently located. My family felt right at home. We would definitely come back to this cabin again.

Perfect for our Christmas stay!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed an old fashioned cabin Christmas in the mountains. The cabin proved to have everything we needed, including cut firewood, plenty of snow, and a local Christmas Eve candlelight service. Four-wheel drive was necessary for access to the cabin in the snow, and a Dixie Forest tree permit allowed us the opportunity to cut a beautiful tree just outside Duck Creek. We enjoyed sledding and snowmobiling. The cabin was clean, warm and cozy. I was grateful for the available washer and dryer. Everything was in working order. Our kids had a blast, and our stay was everything I had hoped for and more! Thank you!

So relaxing

  • 5 of 5

Within the first fifteen minutes of arrival at the cabin, we had wild turkey and deer wandering through the yard. We saw more every day. The cabin was the perfect place to come back to after visiting all the beautiful parks around here. We loved the wood stove to take the chill off of our tired bodies from many wonderful hikes. Lots and lots of pots, pans and kitchen utensils made meal prep a breeze. Sitting around the table playing the games that were provided, became our favorite part of the trip. We will be back, as soon as possible.
