What makes this cabin unique

Our guests enjoy all the comforts of home after their day's adventures. The cabin is on a quiet, woodsy lot with a fire pit for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows in the evening. We regularly have woodland creatures visiting our lot. Deer roam through our property, many species of birds eat right on our front porch, and we've even seen wild turkeys.

Peace and Quiet

  • 4 of 5

We'd never heard of Duck Creek Village, but turns out lots of people have! I've told so many that we'd just returned from there and heard they'd been there too. You can tell WE don't travel much to Utah. However, now that we are in the know, this is a wonderful little town to call home temporarily and it's on our list to come back.

The cabin is very nice and clean and in a quiet location. It's roomy, yet very cozy, and nicely decorated. We saw deer every day, took a walk among the pines and yellow-leafed aspens, and had a fire every night. There were so many DVD's to choose from, an extremely well-equipped kitchen, lots of extra blankets to wrap up in, and gates at the ready for the top and bottom of the stairs for the safety of little ones.

The location worked out perfectly to visit Bryce and Zion National Parks. Aunt Sue's Chalet in town provided a good hearty meal and their local True Value hardware store has a little bit of everything. We wish we'd had time to rent some ATV's and stop in at a couple of gift shops in town, but time wouldn't allow it.

So another little corner of the world has opened up to us and we can't wait to come back.

It was nicely heated, had so many accommodations, and conveniently located. My family felt right at home. We would definitely come back to this cabin again.

Perfect for our Christmas stay!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed an old fashioned cabin Christmas in the mountains. The cabin proved to have everything we needed, including cut firewood, plenty of snow, and a local Christmas Eve candlelight service. Four-wheel drive was necessary for access to the cabin in the snow, and a Dixie Forest tree permit allowed us the opportunity to cut a beautiful tree just outside Duck Creek. We enjoyed sledding and snowmobiling. The cabin was clean, warm and cozy. I was grateful for the available washer and dryer. Everything was in working order. Our kids had a blast, and our stay was everything I had hoped for and more! Thank you!
