Cleaning: These units do not receive daily cleaning service. Each unit has a vacuum if you feel the need to clean. You do not need to clean your unit before you check out, but please leave the unit in a reasonable and tidy condition. It would be helpful to load and start the dishwasher before you check out.
Cleaning Service: These units do not receive daily cleaning service. If you require cleaning service, set it up with the front desk. This service has a substantial additional fee.
Dishwasher: Each unit has a dishwasher and dishwasher soap. If you need more soap, ask the front desk and they will provide more.
Electronics: Each unit has a flat screen TV in the Living room and one in each bedroom. Also included are cable TV, VCR/DVD/CD player, hairdryer, an AM/FM alarm clock, and an in-room safe.
Kitchenware: Each fully-equipped kitchen has: pots, pans, cooking utensils, measuring cups, serving utensils, serving bowls, cooking dishes, scissors, knives, blender, toaster, a regular drip coffee maker, microwave oven, stove or cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer. Also there are plates, bowls, cups, glasses, and silverware. I would suggest bringing spices if you plan to cook, and storage bags or containers for keeping leftovers.
Laundry: Each unit has a washing machine and drying machine along with provided laundry soap. If you need more laundry soap, ask the front desk and they will provide more. Each unit also has an iron and an ironing board.
Pillows: Two pillows are provided for each bed. If you need more, ask the front desk.
Salt, Pepper, Sugar, Coffee: Each unit has tiny salt and pepper shakers. There are also coffee packets provided for your regular drip coffee maker, and some sugar/creamer packets for coffee and stir sticks.
Toiletries: Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bar soap, and lotion are provided. If you need more, ask the front desk and they will provide more.
Towels and linens: Each room is fully stocked with towels and linens. If you need more towels or fresh linens, ask the front desk and they will provide more.
Wi-Fi: Wireless Internet is free for up to 4 devices. This is ideal for emails and basic web browsing, but is often slow. Enhanced high-speed wireless internet for work or streaming is available for purchase ($10 per day). The front desk will explain your wifi options and how to purchase the upgrade.

Computers: Two business centers have computers available for all guests. Wireless internet in your unit is free for up to 4 devices. For more streaming and surfing options, you can upgrade to enhanced high-speed wireless internet for an additional fee.
Discounted Show Tickets &/or coupons: If you find a kiosk or go to the website for tix4tonight, they offer same day tickets. A place to look for all of the shows is the website for vegas. The resort also provides discounts on many show tickets, but these may be connected to the presentation.
Extra Resort Fees: There are no extra resort fees (no hidden fees or taxes), but you can choose to pay for extra services like massages, cabanas, and high speed internet.
Activities & Game Room:
--You will receive an Activities Calendar which includes activities for both children and adults. Children’s activities may include movies, root beer floats, or crafts. Adult activities may include social hour, outings to local attractions, or live entertainment. A fee may be associated with some of the resort amenities and activities.
--There are free movies and games that you can check out and take to your room.
--The Game Room has video games, pool tables, and other activities.
--There is 3D movie theatre on site.
Convenience Store & Deli: The Convenience Store and Deli are open from 7am to 10pm. Starbucks Coffee cart is open each morning.
Grocery Store Shuttle Service: There is not a grocery store within walking distance, but there is a shuttle that can take you for $5.00 per person to the Von’s grocery store. Sign up at the front desk. It is usually scheduled to leave at 8:30 am.
Fitness Center: There are two fitness centers.
Grills: Grills are available in the oasis pool area.
Hot Tubs: There are 4 outdoor hot tubs and 3 outdoor pools. They are open year round and heated.
Lost Keys: Lost your room key? Just go to the front desk in Tower 2 with your name, room number, and ID and they will be able to give you a new one.
Parking: Each unit can receive up to two (2) parking passes. There is a small parking garage, or if it is full, there is also plenty of free surface parking. There is no parking allowed for oversized vehicles.
Pets: Pets are not allowed at the resort.
Pool Towels: At the front desk, you can request pool towel cards. You will then take the card to the pool house to trade for a pool towel. If the cards or towels are not returned a $20 fee per card/towel will be charged to your room.
Pools: Three outdoor swimming pools heated to 80 degrees. One is reserved for adults only and another is open 24 hours a day. There are also four outdoor hot tubs. All are open year round.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in any Wyndham building or unit. No units have balconies. Smoking may be permitted in designated areas on the property. Not complying with this policy may result in the assessment of a substantial fee.
Strip Shuttle Service: There is a complimentary shuttle that runs from Wyndham to Harrah's on the strip continuously every 20 to 30 minutes from 9am to 10pm.
CHECK IN, CHECK OUT:
Airport Shuttle Service: There is no shuttle service from the airport to the Wyndham Grand Desert. Many taxis, uber, lyft, and shuttle services are available at the airport ready to take you to your destination. You may also pre-reserve services through an internet search.
Luggage hold: The front desk is able to hold your luggage in a secure location if you arrive early before your room is ready. They are also able to hold your luggage on checkout day.
Guest Certificate & Guest Checking in: The initial Guest Certificate is included in the cost for the unit. Once I accept your booking, I will ask for the name and address of the primary person checking in, and a backup name. If you are booking within 17 days of travel I may ask for this information before I accept your booking. The name and address must match a government issued identification such as a driver's license. If a passport is used I will need the location of issue. Any changes to these names within 65 days will require a ($99USD) change fee. The change fee cannot be waived or avoided as it is charged by the Wyndham. If your group is arriving on different flights, I would suggest choosing one person from each flight to be named to check in. The person checking in must be 21+ years of age, have a valid photo identification, and a credit card for the $150USD pre-authorization deposit.
Resort Hours: The front desk in Tower 2 is open 24 hours a day.
Check-in: Check-in starts at 4pm. Go to the front desk of Tower 2 and check in just like at a hotel. You will need your photo identification and, if possible, a printed copy of the first page of the confirmation PDF that I will send via email a couple of weeks before your dates of travel. These two things will expedite the check in process.
Early Check-in: You can arrive early and complete your registration paperwork. The front desk will hold your luggage and they will call you when your room is ready. It is possible your room will be ready early. The front desk can hold your luggage and give you a pass that allows you use the pool, gym, computer room, and game room.
Deposit: A credit card pre-authorization or cash deposit of ($150 USD) will be required upon check-in. If you do not charge anything to your room and return all pool towels/cards, this will be returned at check out. You can use a debit card but it may take up to 30 days to release the hold. If you use cash, the Wyndham will send you a check via mail to return the cash.
Check-out: Checkout is at 10am. To check out stop at the front desk in Tower 2.
Late Check-out: Checkout is at 10am. You may request a late checkout when you arrive at the Wyndham Grand Desert, if it is available each hour past 10am will incur a hefty fee. If your flight leaves later in the day, the front desk can hold your luggage and give you a pass that allows you use the pool, gym, computer room, and game room.
Presentation or Tour: You will be offered an opportunity to attend a presentation or tour, this is optional and they will offer you a gift to attend. The presentation or tour is NOT required. The presentation is usually offered when you pick up your parking pass.
Cribs: Complimentary pack and plays are provided. Please ask for one when you check-in.
Date Changes and Cancellation: Dates changes requested 65+ days from your date of travel can usually be honored if the unit is available. Date changes within 65 days are more difficult to arrange, but will be honored if possible. If you need to cancel, my cancellation policy is strict. Please contact me via this message thread before you make a decision to cancel so we can discuss your options fully.
