About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths with Laundry

Charming cottage/house in small complex with nice pool, is surprisingly spacious and much bigger inside than it would appear. At Ogunquit River Trading Company we maintain and rent only our own properties. This cottage is no exception with freshly painted interior, new appliances, televisions, carpeting. In immaculate condition. Everything is on one level, including two bathrooms, laundry, 2 bedrooms with king beds and 1 bedroom with a twin bed. Large, eat-in kitchen, fully equipped. Fireplace, air conditioned, outside picnic table and gas grill. Easy walk to town & beach. You may rent in confidence from us the way we've done it for 30 years - you contact us, we talk/email, we send you a Rental Agreement, you send us a deposit. Also see our website at ogunquitrivertradingcompany where you can see additional photos and our rental policies.

On the occasional non-beach day, a day trip to that famous outdoor outfitter is fun - and nearby Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Portland for tours of Casco Bay is always entertaining!

Why Karen Maxwell chose Southern Coast

Surprisingly spacious and very well located to all that brings visitors to this great town. Very, very clean. This is a home styled cottage and not designed for 'crashing at the beach'. We do not over-crowd or over-rent our properties, for your comfort.

What makes this house unique

Just an easy walk downtown or to the beach or take the town Trolley to your desired Ogunquit destination.

An actual home, close to the beach, with everything we needed

  • 5 of 5

We've been coming to Ogunquit every summer for over a decade, starting with 1 kid, now with 3 children. With each new addition, we've needed a bigger place. This year we discovered this property, and fell in love with it on the first day. The big bedrooms, the enclosed porch, the kitchen, were just fantastic for what we needed for our family.

With our 6 month old, 6 year old, and 10 year old, we were able to walk to the main Ogunquit beach, the town center, take the trolley to Perkins Cove, because of the greation location of this property.

Searose #9

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time in Ogunquit. Searose #9 worked out perfect for us. It is walking distance to the beach, shops and marginal way, however much further then I had expected. Bedrooms were spacious. I loved the enclosed front porch. We used it as our base to also visit other areas; Wells, Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport. Would highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Great Location & Spacious Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Superb location, close to everything. Very spacious cottage, exceptionally clean. Cheery kitchen with lots of room for entertaining, and everything you need to prepare a meal. This cottage was recommended by friends and we would surely recommend to others. Very relaxing vacation.

Charmingly warm and inviting!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have stayed here a few times now. It's very clean and spacious. Close to the center of town, beach and various eating establishments but the kitchen has everything you need for cooking a great meal and dining in. We've welcomed friends and family for visits and all have enjoyed their stay with us. Karen Maxwell is a great hostess...warm, pleasant to deal with and very accommodating. All good things...really lovely cottage!

Clean, Spacious and Wonderful House

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for a week starting Aug 29 and it was awesome! We were a family of 5 (4 adults and 1 child) and really enjoyed the house. Very clean, spacious and homely. We loved the picnic table and chairs in the front lawn - the entire family would gather there in the morning for breakfast and in the evenings after a day at the beach. The owner was very responsive to answering any of my questions during our stay. I would highly recommend this house - it's close to the Ogunquit main square and both the Ogunquit and Footbridges are close by...the trolley stop is a less than a 2 min walk from the house, which all of us found very convenient.

Comfort, charm and beauty

  • 4 of 5

We had a delightful week at Searose #9, and would recommend this property highly. Karen was very friendly and helpful. The house itself is spacious, clean and well maintained. I thought it was even nicer than the photos showed. We practically lived in the large kitchen, where we cooked, baked, ate and played games in the evenings. The town of Ogonquit is fun, with lots of little restaurants and shops, and lovely homes. The walk to the beach is great, but the views along the Marginal Way are amazing! Perkins Cove has lots of neat little shops, too. There is even a trolley if you don't have time or energy for the walk. I would love to be able to stay here again and have more time to explore the area.
