About Georgia Ayers
My husband Jeremy Ayers is a potter and teacher. He makes and sells his pottery in his studio and store. I manage our 2 apartments and curate food and art events in our courtyard throughout the year. We have 2 young sons who also keep up busy:)
Georgia Ayers purchased this Apartment in 1892
Why Georgia Ayers chose Waterbury
My husband Jeremy's great great grandfather built the property in 1892. He was a wheel wright making wagons and sleighs. Our sons are the sixth generation to live on this property.
What makes this Apartment unique
Our guests have loved the modern- rustic details in the carriage barn apartment. The floors and clap board are the original floor boards from 1892. Original ceiling tin is used as a splash board in the kitchen.

Great place, perfect location!
We stayed here with 2 other couples for 2 nights. The house sleeps 6 comfortably and is perfectly located for dinning and drinks. Cant beat it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the best of Vermont's craft beer and food scene.
The location is perfect. The apartment is very roomy and very comfortable, just like being at home!
Thank you so much for a great weekend! Even got to see snow!!! It was a great place to unwind and relax! I will definitely be coming back.
Great location at affordable rate
Great apartment in downtown Waterbury. Clean and well stocked with supplies. Our only complaint was the lack of cable channels available on the TV.
Clean, roomy & welcoming. Brilliant location, great hosts!
We loved Ayers Guest House! It was so well maintained, really comfortable & in a brilliant location to walk to nearby eating places. Waterbury itself was a great spot for scenic drives etc. Georgia & Jeremy were so approachable & helpful. We would love to come back (but coming from Australia that may not be for a while 😊). Thanks so much Georgia! 👍🏼🙌🏼
Beautiful apartment in perfect location
Had a great stay at the Ayers Guest House over Labor Day weekend while attending a wedding in Waitsfield. Owners Jeremy & Georgia are great hosts, communication was great before and during my stay. Apartment is upstairs in an old carriage factory dating back to the 1890s. The Ayers have done a fabulous job using aged wood from the carriage factory/barn in the apartment, which is finished and decorated beautifully. Even had an ironing board and iron, which I needed to iron my very wrinkled shirt for the wedding. Two cozy bedrooms, large bathroom, full kitchen and large living room. As if that is not enough, you can walk to at least 4 restaurants/pubs for dinner and 3 places for breakfast, all within a block or two. Plus Burlington is just 30 minutes away.
Everyone in town was so friendly, had a wonderful stay, ready to move to Waterbury Vermont! Can't say enough good things about the apartment and the location.
Perfect vacation spot!
We loved our stay in the Ayers apartment. The apartment itself was beautiful and clean. The location was ideal. Not only was it perfect walking distance from Waterbury shops and restaurants, it was also a great location from which to take driving daytrips to other Vermont locations. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Waterbury!
