About the property
- Half Baths0
- Minimum Stay2 nights
You’ll love my place because of the convenient location, the outdoors space, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and big groups.
You will have 2 bedrooms plus a private bathroom. My cat will be closed up in the Master suite so you won't see him (unless you are a cat person and want to let him out. He is very sweet!!). There is a basement apartment where my friends (Netta and Michael) live. They are quiet college students who also work, so you may not even see them during your stay. They also have a small dog-just FYI for people with allergies. The apartment is completely separate from the upstairs space and has a door with a deadbolt lock.
You are welcome to use the kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry room, large, shady deck and yard.
I am available at any time during your stay, via text or phone call. Netta lives on the premises and is also available via text or phone.
One guest has mentioned difficulty getting a cell phone signal using AT&T at the home.
Absolutely NO smoking inside but outside on the driveway is just fine.
Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate guests for month long stays, but a few nights or even 2 weeks is possible.

A peaceful house outside but near Asheville
We had a restful week enjoying the house which is well equipped with everything one needs. Nice terrace, kitchen and living space. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels.
Michelle responded quickly to every contact. We also enjoyed having a cat Smokey Jackson who came and sat with us in the evening.
Great place to get into town, or to the hiking off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
We would recommend the house and would love to return in the fall to see the trees change color.
Very nice/clean home. Owner made us feel very welcome. Would recommend to others.
Perfect for what we needed
We had a great time staying here. The house had everything we needed and was clean and well kept. We also loved playing with Smokey Jackson (the owner’s cat). The house is back in a more secluded area so it is very quiet and the neighborhood is very scenic. Would recommend!
Property was ideal for our Asheville, NC purpose
OK, the property was very conveniently located to Asheville, NC. Accommodations were very nice and comfortable. Rates were very affordable for the time we needed between Christmas and New Years.
Will go back to see the house cat as well.
Off the beaten path and very quiet
Great location, tons of living space
We loved our stay at this house! It was conveniently located off Tunnel Road, and it was only about 10-15 minutes to downtown, the Grove Park Inn, or the mall. Despite the convenient location, it felt like you were deep in the woods! This morning, a huge flock of wild turkeys walked down the road.
The house is great, very spacious. We had a large kitchen, eating area, and family room in addition to the two bedrooms and full bath. We ate out quite a bit, but it was nice to be able to cook dinner the night we stayed in, and breakfast too. It was a bit chilly to use the outdoor deck, but it looked very nice. We had a couple of questions for the owner, and she was very quick to respond. We were able to let ourselves in, and she allowed us to check in a bit early which really extended our short stay. We would definitely stay here again!
