Better Than A Small Hotel Room
Our family of 7 stayed here for the weekend while attending a wedding. It had everything we needed. Minus a few cobwebs, it was clean, including the furniture. Enough towels and hot water for showering and the beds were comfortable and clean. Very roomy and great decor.
Thanks to Bobette and her family! They were respectful of my property, followed instructions and house rules, and left the space in great condition! Glad you enjoyed your visit to Lansing! Please return again!
Comfy and a perfect retreat after a day on the river
Our second stay. Everything was great. Love the location and comfy accommodations. My son loves the original PlayStation and original Xbox along with retro games to play. Nice to have washer and dryer. Three good places for breakfast within two blocks. Great view from deck.
Dave and his family are the perfect guests. Great about communication, following the house rules, polite and neat. Come back next year!!!!
This was the icing on the cake!
Sure was a magical part of our "making memories" weekend
So glad you had an opportunity to make some memories and and drink some wine! It is truly a magical space!
Great location and fun, roomy space.
Nicely remodeled huge loft with full kitchen, pool table, ping pong table, TV, video games, modern washer/dryer, deck and tons of beds. Responsive owner. Walk to everything. No WiFi and limited cell data speeds but our cell phones worked for voice/texting and the library down the street had wifi inside, in the lobby (open 24x7) and even on the bench outside. Walk up to Hosmer Park (entrance just several blocks) for a good workout and great view of river valley from top of bluff. Great massage place (Lansing Soap Co) just one block away.
Great adult weekend get away.
We stayed at the loft for an adult couples get away. It was perfect. Loved every minute. The space is beautiful and large enough for our group of 7 that stayed there and a total of 15 of us total when our other friends came over to visit. The loft is very clean and spacious with great views from the deck of the river. It was within walking distance of bars, places to eat, shops and the river. Even with the lack of bedrooms this was a great place to stay and before we even left, were planning a time for a return trip! Would recommend this loft to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lansing!
We saw people on horseback stop at the Kwik Star
A good space for 9 guys to spend the weekend. Having a full kitchen, deck and ping pong table was benefical. Owner was very accommodating and quick to repsond when inquiring about property and finalizing all details. Renters need to bring very limited supplies as almost everything is provided.
Boat and pontoon rental nearby, great sandbars and beaches on the Mississippi River. Canoeing and kayaking on the Upper Iowa River. Some of the best duck hunting. Fishing in the Mississippi and Upper Iowa River, bass, northern, walleye, perch, crappie, bluegill and catfish. Close to the famous Eagles Nest as seen on http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles. Great hiking http://www.nps.gov/efmo/index.htm. Great snowmobiling. Ride your motorcyles on the Great River Road!
