This very elegant 1 bedroom apartment has been renovated in January 2007 and is brand new. It is 37 square meters in size and located on the fourth floor (no elevator) of a nice ancient building. All amenities and appliances are brand new. Charming, safe, convenient. Located in the best area of le Marais and within 3 minutes walk to the river and Ile St Louis. This apartment offers great comfort and is in a superb area.
The apartment is very quiet (quiet street + double windows) and has great typical Paris roof' views. It is less than a minute walk to food and grocery shopping, as well as restaurants and stores. If you are thinking of cooking your own food you will have everything nearby and the kitchen is elegantly equipped with all you need to do it. Large Oven, stove, cooking utensils.
The apartment capacity is 2 guests in the bedroom's king bed. The kitchen is independent from the living room and the bathroom has a sink and a bath with wall mounted unit to serve as a shower. The apartment is heated air, has a large washing machine, telephone, Wifi fast internet connection, cable TV, DVD player.

I stayed in this apartment for the month of April, it was my second stay and definitely won't be my last. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you need. The location is ideal, on the right bank but walking distance to the left bank and the divine Ile St Louis. There are boulangeries, patisseries, farmers markets, supermarkets literally at the doorstep. Metro and bus stops just around the corner. Highly recommend this apartment.
The apartment was small but perfect for my husband and me, just what "our idea" of a Paris apartment should be, with all facilities needed to cook, if required..
It was easy to walk to lots of iconic places, incl, Place des Voges, the intriguing Isle St. Louis, Nortre Dame, the Left Bank, and obviously many in the Marais and if required, there were metro stops and supermarkets nearby. But also lots of cafes, restaurants, etc.
For five days we lived like Parisians and it was fun.
My wife and I recently spent 3 weeks at 37 Rue St. Paul, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment is a very short walk from St. Paul metro on Line 1. Line 1 runs along the river and contains many of the main stations for sightseeing spots. We also found the location an easy walk to many landmarks and neighborhoods such as Notre Dame, Place Des Voges, Hotel de Ville, and the Left Bank. The apartment is well-maintained and clean and the kitchen has all the necessary equipment if you want to cook, but we little of that. Although not air conditioned, the ceiling fans kept us cool even during some hot evenings. We found the apartment quiet. Street noise is minimized by good windows. The apartment sits close to a well priced grocery store (Monoprix) and many, many good neighborhood restaurants and boulangeries. We didn't use the TV or watch DVDs much, but everything seemed to work fine. We experienced an occasional loss of internet during the evenings of our last week, but not often and not for long. As others have noted, it's a steep climb up the stairs to get to the 4th floor, but good exercise! If you really have trouble getting up and downstairs, or have little energy, then this might not be the place for you. We had no trouble reserving the apartment, checking in, or checking out, and really no significant issues during our stay. Only one minor issue: the living room ceiling fan is a bit noisy, as it needs some tightening--but it didn't bother us enough to notify Pascal ,the manager. We would certainly return to this apartment, and hope to do so soon enough.
My husband and I stayed here early October for our belated honeymoon. Pascal was easy to work with and I had no concerns working with him. I felt from reading many online review that apartment was a great choice- I was right! Pascal met us at the apartment and filled us in on the details.
The location of the apartment is fabulous- right down from the metro. There are great shops and restaurants all around. We frequented one on the corner each night for dessert! There are two stores very close to get food and beverage.
The apartment itself was very comfortable, clean and cozy. Having a large selection of movies and English speaking channels were great after a long day of sightseeing. There were a lot of stairs to get to the apartment but it prepared us for Notre Dam!
The upstairs neighbor did have a party one night and it was very loud until 3am. From the sounds it was a birthday party and we did not hear noise from them again during our visit.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone and would consider staying here again if I travel to Paris. Thank you Pascal!
This apartment is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and in a great location! My husband and I walked everywhere we went, and enjoyed the accessibility of pastries, groceries, and restaurants. The apartment had a fully stocked kitchen for cooking, making coffee, etc. The apartment includes some plug adapters, which was a nuce touch. The laundry machine worked well, but there is no dryer. There is a drying rack provided. Pascal was easy to work with for booking and questions, and even accepted our payment in US dollars so we didn't have to worry about obtaining all of the euros immediately upon arrival in Paris. Our only complaint were the occasionally noisy neighbors above us, but overall the apartment is as clean and quiet as advertised!
This apartment was perfect for our stay in Paris: it's in a terrific location on a quiet street, is very central to the main sights, is clean and very well equipped. We were impressed from the start when Renata met us and was so thorough in ensuring that we had all we needed, even to checking that the wi-fi connection was fully operational for both of our devices.
We are lucky enough to visit Paris regularly and would definitely return to this apartment again. The owners have made every effort in providing all those little essentials that make a self-catering holiday so much easier (umbrella, extra socket converters, books and DVDs) and there is great food shopping quite literally on the doorstep. I would agree with previous comments that the number of stairs to access the apartment (though not a problem for us), may concern those with limited mobility or very small children.
Thanks to Pascal too for his prompt attention during the booking and follow up. The whole process was seamless was start to finish. I would certainly recommend this apartment and would like to return!
