'EAGLES NEST' is the name of this Florida 'Shotgun' Cottage. It is a typical one level center hall beach house. Each bedroom has a private bath. Two bedrooms have king size beds and two have queen size beds. There is a private bunkroom off the rear screened porch. The back of the house faces the preserve offering a private & quiet setting. 10 ft ceilings throughout and a cathedral ceiling in the living room finished in oak.
Features include a NEW 60' LED TV with surround sound above the stone fireplace and Blue Ray DVD, granite countertops in the galley kitchen and stainless appliances. Central stereo with inside and outside speakers. Full size ice maker in kitchen for your trips to the beach. Hugh community pool is 5 minute walk and beach is 5 minute free tram ride from the front door.
Bedrooms have transom style windows and carpet. Baths are all ceramic tile and granite counter tops. Two bathrooms feature large walk in showers.
This neighborhood is approx 15 years old and is next to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach and all of it's ammentities. Home is maintained and all linens are fresh each season, new rugs and runners each year, newer TV's, fresh paint in and out. We are the original owners.
New in fall of 2010 complete air conditioning system replace. Super cooling capacity and quiet.
New January 2016: carpet in bedrooms and bunk room, new wrap around couch in living room. New flat screens in bedrooms and living room. Hardwood floors refinished. New ice maker & dishwasher. Painted throughout interior and exterior Jan 2016.
Cancellation Policy: Once reservation is made there is no refunds. In case of a need to cancel we have always agreed that if we can re-rent that same week we will refund all of your rental, which has happened a few times.
New towels, sheets, rugs, and pillows changed out March 2018. We keep the house as fresh as possible.

About Ed Lease
Angie and Ed Lease. We live in Nashville, TN. This is the second house we built in Seacrest and have owned it since it was new in 2004. We are animal people so our property is naturally 'Pet Friendly'. I am a partner in a commercial cleaning company called Stratus Building Solutions and Angie is a construction rep for Republic Services.

Why Ed Lease chose Santa Rosa Beach
This area was of interest because of it's distance from Atlanta. We lived there for 20 years and found lots of our friends and associates vacationed in the panhandle area.
What makes this House unique
The pool in the center of the neighborhood is a huge attraction. The new outside mall in Panama City Beach, Pier Park is close and offers shopping and lots of restaurants. Destin is only 30 miles and features a hugh outlet mall.

Perfect House for 7 guests
Perfect house for the family during spring break. The one story floor plan was great for unloading/loading the car. 4 full baths was a plus. The location in the back was secluded enough and there was not any traffic around us. Just steps away from the Seacrest Beach Tram service to the beach, but not that far of a walk either. Ice machine was great. The speaker system was another added plus for this house. Will be looking to book this house again.
Perfect vacation home for 2 adults and 3 teenage children!!
The house was very comfortable and the owners were very accommodating. We were welcomed with a box of donuts and milk. The only thing that could have made our stay better is some non-stick cook ware, as we prefer to cook most of our meals. Otherwise, there are many restaurants within walking distance that are excellent! The kids loved the pool and the tram service to the beach. We will definitely be planning another trip to Seacrest Beach!!
Great single level house
Clean and fresh. Very nice house. Good family home.
Perfect Family Getaway
Upon arrival the home was clean, spacious & accomodating; even had a few rolls of toilet paper, paper towels & some hand soap!
There were some beach toys, boogie boards, chairs & an umbrella on the back porch to take to the beach.
The master bedroom bed was super comfortable!!!! We LOVED the one-level style of the home!
Tram service to the beach was quick & easy! Mr. James even gives cookies to his riders!!
We rented bikes and rode around the neighbirhood & to a park in Alys for the kids to play. The whole area is super bike friendly. The Peddlers Pavillion has tons of food, shopping & live music.
Lastly, Ed, the owner, was easy to communicate with and even sent Donuts and milk on our last full day!!
We would stay again & again!!!
Great Seacrest property
We really enjoyed our stay at Seacrest. The house was clean updated when convenient. The owners are easy to work with and responsive. Nice screen porch on the nature preserve. We will Certainly come back again Angie
Great house for the family and great location and neighborhood.
This house came with everything we needed. It is located near a dead end which helps with less traffic in front of house. We had issues with door knob and called Ed and this was taken care of in few hours when we first arrived. The living area is great place to hang out with the family and the four bedrooms each with attached full bathroom was great to give privacy for all. The kitchen had everything we needed and the stand alone ice machine was great to have to fill up our cups and small coolers when needed without having to go get ice. The Seacrest beach neighborhood is a really nice community to stay at with a great pool and tram service to private beach for the community was great as well. The people are very friendly and meet all of out expectations and more. Ready to come back again. Thanks Ed for everything again.
Additional information about rental rates
Thanksgiving Week is $1000.00 plus fees. Christmas weeks are $1000 plus fees. Week prior to and after that includes any holidays. Summer weeks are Sat to Sat only. Reservation Deposits are non-refundable. Signed agreement required along with photo ID at time of booking. Check in at 4:00 pm. Check out is 10:00 am. Please remove trash when you leave. Well trained house pets, dogs only, are welcome. However the maximum is 2 dogs per visit and the cost is $200.00 per dog as part of your rent. Damages and "accidents" from your pet will go against your security deposit.
