About Paula George
Th picture is of me, home from LSU, as a maid in the Carnival Ball for the Krewe of Zeus. I am a real estate attorney practicing 40 years. i love antiques and have tried to furnish all my units with period authentic antique furniture.
Paula George purchased this Apartment in 2004
Why Paula George chose Faubourg Livaudais
I bought this property along with its sister next door, in 2000. This home was built in 1900. I have lovingly restored this property and others. Hope you can enjoy it too.
What makes this Apartment unique
This used to be a single house but it was apartments when I bought it. And it looked like a "flophouse." with a lot of strange black and purple walls. I put in new kitchens and baths and refinished the hardwood floors and painted everything. There are beautiful lion plaster decorations on the columns and this is shown in one of the architectural books.

All one could ask...
Paula George is a gracious host of well appointed and equipped, comfortable accommodations. We could not have been more satisfied.
Wonderful location in a nicely appointed place.
This unit has everything you will need for a great stay. It's right on the cable car line so getting around couldn't be easier. And there's plenty to see right in the neighborhood.
The thing I liked best was that the streetcar stop is right in front of the place. It was super easy to get downtown. Beautiful neighborhood, also.
Excellent Location, Historic Property
I enjoyed my stay at this property. It had a great location. We could walk to almost everything or take easily accessible public transportation. The one bedroom itself was clean and cozy while also having a lot of personality. Paula provided a ton of information on New Orleans as well.
Beautiful apartment in a great location
I had a great stay - the pictures do not do this beautiful place justice. The apartment is directly across the street from a streetcar stop, which makes getting around town easy. It's on a quiet, peaceful part of St Charles, but just a few minutes walk to the nightlife St Charles offers. I highly recommend it!
Beautiful unit with lots of antiques and New Orleans charm. VERY conveniently located near streetcar
This unit was clean and beautifully decorated. The location was PERFECT -
literally steps from the streetcar stop. Paula and her other tenants were warm and very accommodating. This is my new favorite place to stay in New Orleans!!
You are on St. Charles Avenue, one of the most famous avenues with the oldest street car (trolley) line in world. Many historic mansions just blocks away, nearby banks, restaurants, grocery, museums
