Why Carol Johnston chose North West
It's the best area in the city! It has everything on the doorstep but is beautiful and quiet. We can still have fun but cater to children too.its classy and a really photogenic terrace, being one of 100 buildings of special architectural significance in Scotland.
What makes this Apartment unique
Lots of Space...no noisy rambling groups spilling out of pubs like the city centre. Private parking. Park and gardens on the doorstep. Walkable to the Hydro, SECC and Clyde Auditorium for concerts. Walkable to the heart of the west end and universities too.

Nice location and pleasant to deal with
Our family of 4 stayed a week in this quaint flat. Off the beaten path so quiet and not touristy. Walkable to grocery and coffee. A little bit longer walk to transportation. We found the NPH (network private hire) taxis to be the most convenient.
Bedrooms and bathrooms are good. Kitchen is good. Couches could use some updating. We enjoyed our stay. Our only down was the tenant upstairs played loud music and seemed to be exercising or dancing on the wood floors above us. But that’s not the fault of this place, just a circumstance of being on the ground floor. :). Overall I would recommend.
Great home away from home
The flat way very accommodating. Plenty of space. All the amenities and then some. Our comment would be the old sofa is great to sleep on, but not very comfy to sit on. We understand this is will be changing after some renovations.
The location is excellent. Close to everything. Having Carol and Marty on hand to deal with the odd hiccup was wonderful. They responded very quickly.
We definitely would recommend this flat, and look forward to staying there again.
Perfect In Every Way!
This location was a perfect spot for our week in Glasgow! First of all, in terms of the neighbourhood, it could not have been better: one block to Kelvingrove Park for morning runs, two amazing and friendly local cafes within 500 meters, within walking distance of the University of Glasgow, Kelvingrove Museum, fabulous restaurants, the train station and the River Clyde. The apartment was beautiful: clean, well-appointed, large and with all the necessary conveniences for a more than comfortable stay. We felt right at home there! The neighbourhood was safe and welcoming. Thanks ever so much for a wonderful visit--our first to Scotland will be memorable, in part, because of our stay in this particular location.
Thank you so much. You were the perfect guests and we enjoyed welcoming you to our city. Glad you enjoyed it! Please come back soon

In need of care, refurbishment and maintenance
Quiet neighbourhood with private gardens opposite.
Adjacent to Kelvingrove Park and short walk to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
Easy access to city centre via pedestrian bridge and slightly longer walk at the moment due to fire damage blocking off parts of Sauchiehall Street.
Garden Flat is cool in summer (it was 30+C outside).
Very spacious with 2 en-suite bedrooms.
Adjacent to Kelvingrove park, Glasgow's biggest city park, housing Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery with an internationally renowned collection. 5 minutes walk to the Glasgow School of Art, again of international renown, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, tours available. Close to the city's theatre district.the adjacent park allows room for children to play and have fun on the city's largest skate park. Glasgow & Strathclude Universities are nearby for access to campus and tours. The Scottish exhibition and conference centre, Clyde auditorium and hydro concert venue are walkable, as is the city's media quarter with the BBC and STV located there alongside the city's science centre. The area is a hive of activity with the serenity of the park to allow quiet enjoyment on the doorstep.
