About Richard Casey
Hi folks, Rich and Sharon Casey here. We hope you enjoy our lake home. We purchased it about 16 years ago and shortly thereafter remodeled it, adding two bedrooms, a game room and a den, as well as expanding the deck. We bought it because of the beautiful country setting, the stunning lake views and the wildlife. The community of Oak Shores, in which the home is located, offers many amenities such as a pool, mini put golf and a nice marina with launch ramp and private slips. We find it a great place to get away and relax. We are blessed to have a number of close friends that also have homes in the community and we enjoy time spent there with them. We are outdoor enthusiasts and enjoy hanging out at the lake, or spending time on the ranch with our horses and cows. We also enjoy a pack trip and camping in the mountains. Rich is a local boy and grew up in the area while Sharon is from the big city (Sunnyvale), but Rich stole her away in 1984 and turned her into a country girl. We live about 45 minutes away, near the little town of King City. Rich and Sharon work full time in the family business, printing and publishing. Sharon's passion is raising Guide Dogs puppies for the blind while Rich is a cowboy at heart, raising cattle and training horses.
Richard Casey purchased this House in 2001
Why Richard Casey chose Bradley
As a kid, Rich's family had a very wonderful, but very rustic, cabin on this lake and he spent weeks on end during the summer, exploring every nook and cranny of this beautiful lake, water skiing, fishing and spending lazy days on the dock. As an adult it called him back and when we found this home couldn't resist the temptation to own it.
What makes this House unique
This property offers so many great opportunities its hard to know where to begin. For the water sport enthusiast there is boating, skiing, wakeboarding, swimming, kayaking, fishing, etc etc. For the wine and culinary enthusiast there are some 300 wineries on the Central Coast, many of them within 30 minutes to 1.5 hours drive of the home. In addition, the nearby town of Paso Robles (45 minutes) for its size, offers an amazing choice of nice restaurants and entertainment options. For the history buff there is the iconic Mission San Antonio, one of the most well preserved and pristine missions in the entire California Mission system, located about 40 minutes from the home. Oh yea - don't forget - if you just want to get away from it all and want to have a quiet weekend in a beautiful setting, this is the ticket as well!

Quiet, beautiful view
Great communication made it very smooth and easy
Cute little cabin with tons a space upstairs for all the kiddos. Fully stocked kitchen and had all the items we needed to make a delicious meal. Large dining space accomodated our family of 8 well. The view from the back deck is amazing and we enjoyed watching the sun come up and the deer stroll through the area between the lake and house. Short but steep walk to the deck is accurate. The association is just that, look into their fees if you are launching a boat etc. Great little place just off the water and very easy to get to.
It was great having you and your family as guests Rayna. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

North San Luis Obispo County is famous for its wine tasting opportunities and there are numerous wineries within a 40 minute drive of the home.
We are big water sports enthusiasts and enjoy the world class water skiing, wakeboarding, and fishing on the lake. We also enjoy seeing the many, many deer that inhabit the community as well as the bald eagle and other birds and wildlife.
As history buff we enjoy spending time at nearby San Antonio Mission, on of the most pristine missions in the entire California Mission system.
