Located 5 minutes from Letchworth Park (voted America's favorite state park and coined "the Grand Canyon of the East"), the farmhouse is newly renovated. You have the entire farmhouse to yourself and family/friends as it has 4 bedrooms (sleeping 8), 2 full baths, kitchen with listed amenities, spacious dining and living rooms and Finger Lakes Hiking Trail located on property. It's a perfect romantic getaway, couples retreat, family reunion or "stay-cation" rental from the hustle and bustle of city life. Horses and cows graze peacefully in the pastures, crickets chirp, loons make their forlorn calls and fireflies dance in the dusk as you enjoy a quiet repose on 20 quiet acres of solitude and peace. We cordially invite you to get away from it all. Whether you stay in the quaint accommodations or choose to explore the Finger Lakes Trail and Letchworth Park, it will be a memorable getaway. Letchworth Park itself is a gold mine of new discoveries with hiking/bicycle riding trails, kayaking/rafting trips, hot air balloon/horse back rides and seasonal hunting/swimming/snowmobiling. There are many other attractions nearby with the Swain skiing area only 10 miles away and the Fingerlakes wineries/breweries about 45 minutes away. We will personally greet you upon arriving at our farmhouse and will be available via phone/text to answer any questions and make your stay more comfortable. We welcome you to "The Olde Farmstead"!

Hi, my name is Peggy and I come from a family of successful B & B owners. This farm was purchased as a place for my horses and cows to happily romp and graze. The farm home became my personal project to renovate and now that it's completed, we're inviting you to come, relax, get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the country in upstate NY!
Peggy purchased this House in 2013
Why Peggy chose Livingston County
If you have not traveled to upstate New York, you are truly missing out on one of the most beautiful areas in the United States! The rolling hills, trees, rivers and natural lakes are truly breathtaking. Every season has its own beauty and "The Olde Farmstead" is waiting for you to use as home base to explore the area's beauty or just to just relax and unwind.
What makes this House unique
This home was originally built in the early 1800's. To maintain it's farmhouse charm and appeal, I just finished renovating it with a country/Americana decor. The home is very welcoming and warm. Bedrooms are themed with different farm animals. The living room has a patriotic theme, honoring the men and women who serve our country in its Armed Forces. The dining room is spacious with a table large enough to seat 8 people comfortably.

Gorgeous country setting!
This is a very comfortable, cozy house. We enjoyed our time here. It is very quiet and relaxing. Peggy, the owner, gave us plenty of information about the house and surrounding attractions. We came to the area to visit Letchworth State Park, which is beautiful and the house gave us a wonderful base to come back to at night. Would love to come back again!
Great Time at The Olde Farmstead.
My wife and I had a great time staying at The Olde Farmstead. We were staying in the area to explore Letchworth State Park which is a very close by. It was nice to come back to the house in the evening and watch the horses, cows, and ducks . The house itself is very nice and clean with plenty of room. If your staying in the area I would recommend staying here!
Thank you so much for booking "The Olde Farmstead"! I'm so very happy that you enjoyed your stay as my guests' happiness and comfort in the home is my utmost priority! I hope to host you again as you took such wonderful care of the home and made my "job" as your host a joy!
Beautiful Home & Property
Enjoyed our stay at the Farm, the grandchildren loved watching the horses and cows play! Nice home with lots of room to spread out and relax. Everything needed was there and then some. Recommended to others traveling with extended families.
It’s a great place to stay! Clean, spacious and cleverly decorated
The Olde Farmstead was the perfect place for my friends and me to stay during my son’s wedding weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us to have private bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and having a well stocked kitchen was perfect for breakfasts and late night snacks. The decor of each room is quite clever, with a theme for each, which lead to a bit of exploring as each person arrived.
The surrounding land was peaceful and serene for morning coffee outside. I brought my bike and rode up the road early in the morning, but wouldn’t recommend that later in the day as the traffic picked up; far too many fast moving vehicles.
Overall we were all pleased with the cleaniliness and accommodations of the spot.
I will definitely be staying at the olde farm house every time I visit the area.
Absolutely love hosting families who truly enjoy the country/farm experience!
An ideal country setting
The house and grounds are beautiful. The wildlife made regular appearances as we sat in the beautiful back yard over looking ponds and the horse pasture. And, Peggy is as sweet a host as you could ask for.
This was the perfect place to unwind and relax with a group of friends.
Local eateries and quaint antique shops in nearby Mt. Morris, great tavern food and entertainment on weekends at Letchworth Pines restaurant in Portageville. Swain ski area located 10 miles away.
