Dream Wedding at Casa V

  • 5 of 5

Our week at Casa V was filled with so many special memories! We had twenty people staying at Casa V and another 12 at Long Bay House two doors down. Everyone traveled from Minnesota for our wedding festivities. The drive from the airport to Casa V was very easy and took about 25 minutes. Upon entering the gate, the beautiful flowers and trees made it feel like we were in our own little paradise. Seeing the ocean on the pool deck was truly breathtaking and made for unbelievable pictures! We planned to have the wedding on the beach but the sandy area was not large enough so we had the ceremony on the terrace overlooking the ocean and the reception/dance under the palm trees by the main entrance. Truly beautiful! The house fit us all comfortably and with 20 people everyone had their own space to retreat too. It was so fun to use the big grill outside and cooking in was one of our favorite things to do! The entertainment room next to the pool was perfect for our four year old niece who could bounce between swimming and resting with cartoons. The property staff were very kind and helpful as was the cleaning staff. We are excited to come back again!

A truly, truly special place!!

  • 5 of 5

Casa V far exceeded our expectations! Seven couples rented the main and guest house for six days for our 50th b-days and we couldn't have been happier. The setting is magnificent. Very private and the beach is so near and inviting at the bottom of the stairs of the house. We stayed down there many afternoons, some in the shade of the enormous natural thatched tiki umbrellas while others stayed in the sun and water. Wonderful 2 mile walk on the beach if you go left. Great beach spot as grace bay was too windy and rough most of the time we were there but we had calm blue torquoise waters on Long Bay. We didnt leave the house for three days! We had a private chef during that time and the outdoor bar and dining area is where we took every meal. The outdoor covered area between the TV room and kitchen was the central meeting area as it had plenty of chairs and room to catch up. The pool was equally inviting for a quick dip after the ocean or lounging on the beach chairs. We also had a great tennis tournament and the only regret was not taking lunch and beverages down at the covered tiki umbrellas and amply sized tables and bar area. The court is in very good shape and its hot during the day so a recommendation is to play early morning or in the early to later evening as the lights work great. The condition of the home and all its contents were excellent. The chef (Dave Moser who is amazing!) said the kitchen and outdoor grill were centrally located to allow him to be around the broader group and not run far. The beds were comfortable and each room had safes. Town was about 15 minutes away. We really enjoyed being off on our own to catch up and there are no neighbors on one side of the property so for late nights we need not worry about making too much noise. There is a caretaker on property who we never saw unless we needed to and the rental company island escapes was very attentive to our limited requests. Many of us have vacationed in nice places all over the world. This venue is spectacular and we all had the same feelings post event - the meals, accommodations, views, setting and wonderful weather could not have been better and really made our trip so memorable. I would take this place over any five star hotel and if we go back to turks, this will be the first place I call.

Beautiful Home - But…..

  • 4 of 5

Wonderful and spacious property, an oasis in itself. Stunning sunrise each day and the beach and tennis courts were lots of fun. However...

We were a family of 11 - 4 grandparents, 3 kids, 2 college age, 1 couple. While we could see the bedrooms in the pictures, the actual layout is not really conducive for a party that needs multiple rooms for children. We found it hard to give each adult their own room (queen beds) and space the young children out since two of the bedrooms have entrances off the main house and require a walk via the driveway. This separation is great for adults/privacy but for kids its far less secure. Pay close attention - the twin beds are in the guest house.

Unfortunately, grandmother had bugs in her room on 2 separate days. We have been to the islands many times and know to keep food, etc. out of the rooms. This was not the issue. Staff was attentive and responded quickly, but we had to move her out of her room and into the guest house after 2 days w a suitcase filled with ants, washing all her clothes twice, etc.

The road into the home is not paved and made for rough driving in and out of the property. Add on 5-10 minutes for your trip to the supermarket and do not rent a nice car because it truly is like driving on the moon at some points, swallowing our 9 person van traveling at close to walking speed.

Home is close to the marina for water craft rentals, and Provo Ponies for a great horseback riding adventure. Overall well appointed and situated but we have stayed in other homes on the island that offer the same where we have had better experiences.

Owner's Response: Thanks to you and your family who are among the many multi-generational families who have enjoyed wonderful vacations at Casa V. Having been to island villas before, you may know that homes in the islands are often much more spread out and can have multiple buildings and bedrooms with private entrances. Such is the case with Casa V. We have aimed to accommodate families such as yours who have younger children by placing a large chaise (suitable for a child's bed) in the Master Bedroom as well as a pullout single bed sleeper in each of the two upstairs queen suites that comfortably accommodate our youngest guests. We always review the layout in detail with families who share with us their desire to have young children with them in the main part of the house. In light of your comments, we will be adding a floor plan layout to our web site to simplify the sharing of this information. Thank you! As for the concern about ants, I wish I could say that we can fully eradicate a naturally-occurring and harmless critter but they are very much a part of the tropical landscape and try as we do (with regular exterminations and ant traps), they are so tiny that they still find their way into the villa. That said, it's important to differentiate them from "bugs", which might connote to readers something worse - like those that bite, sting or otherwise cause harm. And as for the roadways in Long Bay, they are an adventure for sure! We actually appreciate that many of the roads in our neighborhood are not paved as it discourages those who do not live (or rent) there from wandering around and disturbing the tranquility of the area. That said, the main road into Long Bay (Long Bay Highway) is paved from Leeward all the way to the Long Bay Beach Road, where you can just turn left and drive on the partially unpaved (and generally not very rutted) ocean road directly to the villa. It seems that you were going on the other option (Lignum Vitae) which really takes a beating with the tropical rains. In general, we hope that our guests are relaxed while on island, enough so that if they do take the "adventurous route", they don't mind going slowly as there is really nowhere to rush to while enjoying the island that we all love because it is "beautiful by nature". Thank you again for your comments. The Casa V Family

Ultimate Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Casa V was the ultimate getaway on Long Bay Beach. We soaked up the magnificence of the turquoise water, sunny skies, and white sandy beaches. A group of 16 old friends met and enjoyed all the amenities the villa offered which included relaxing, dining on locally caught seafood, enjoying the bar and media room, and watching the beautiful sunsets. The beds were comfortable and linens nice, as those are a couple things I am picky about. Communication was excellent with the owner and property manager. Renting a car was most helpful as we were in a more remote residential area. The photos depicted the house very well. The kitchen was well equipped for those of us who enjoyed cooking for the group. It was easier to cook and grill than to take 16 folks into a restaurant every night. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it for groups of friends or families who want to kick back and enjoy the fabulous ambience of Providenciales.

Special Birthday at a Special Place

  • 5 of 5

Wow, what a vacation! 18 friends met in Provo to celebrate a very special birthday. We had the perfect home - Casa V. The estate is perfect for large groups that have diverse interests AND enjoy group time and quiet time. The accommodations were perfect for our group...nothing could have been better. The property is well maintained, the homes are clean, and the amenities are plentiful. We spent very little time in the homes...most of our days and evenings were spent beaching, poolside, or around the outdoor bar / cooking area. Thank you for making this time very special for all of us. We hope to return to the Casa V soon.

Incredible Beach Front Property

  • 5 of 5

This beachfront property was a perfect vacation getaway. The location is very private but not isolated and and easily accessable by car to restaurants and shopping. The layout is priceless offering multiple sleeping accomodations that can handle multiple combinations of occupants. There is a great guesthouse with all the ammenties with a beautiful balcony overlooking the main house and ocean. The main house has a seperate family room with bar/TV/refrigerator which was a great place to congregate. The pool deck is contingous with a expansive beach deck that offered beautiful morning views for yoga and Pilates workouts, or lounging for the less active. The outdoor deck also had fixed shade to rest sundrenched skin. The beach was just lovely and a lighted walkway safely made heading down to the beach at night safe and enviting. Dinners on the outdoor porch were magnificant and the barbecue was huge with a seperate bar area. Moon lit nights, tropical breezes, fine wine, and conversation made for a perfect memory. We arranged a chef one night through the own/manager which made for a spectacular evening. The house had a beautiful living room and seperate indoor dining room. The kitchen had all one would need to feed an army. Washing machines were plentiful. The beach was perfect for long walks and had a seperate lounge area with fixed thatched sun protection. We spent many hours on the beautiful tennis court that had night lighting, a seperate exercise building with refrigerator and indoor and shaded outdoor seating areas. The property overall was kept in perfect condition. The owners obviously care about the aesthetics and don't leave broken items unattended. They seem to spare no expense in maintainance. The landscaping is beautiful and the property overall feels first class. You cannot go wrong here because nothing is missing or unworthy of your effort or money.
