Situated on the Coosawattee River, Otter Run Cabin is the best way to let go of your cares that the city life can bring. (But there is WIFI if you can't quite break free) You can Fish, relax on a swing, sit by a camp fire next to the river, or enjoy all of the amenities the Coosawattee River Resort has to offer at this Ellijay cabin.
The main level features an open living room with floor to ceiling windows, a gorgeous view of the river and a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace. The flat screen TV has a Wii game console and Net Flix. There is one bedroom on this level with a queen bed and another flat screen TV. The bathroom consists of a single vanity and a tub/shower combination. Off the living area is a well equipped kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave and a dining table for four. The kitchen opens out onto the deck with a charcoal grill, flat screen TV and festive lighting with incredible views of the river.
Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms. The first is an open loft area with a queen size bed and private deck/balcony. The master suite features a king size bed, princess balcony overlooking the living room and a private deck for your morning coffee and some fresh mountain air. The master bath opens to both the master suite and the loft area. It features an enclosed jetted tub and shower along with double vanities.
This cabin comes with its own washer and dryer and all linens and towels are included. All you need to bring is your personal items, food and a desire for peace and quiet and lots of family fun. Pet Friendly too with a fenced in yard! Parking is under the house is a two car garage so you can unload inside and away from any weather.
Added bonus Otter Run is part of the Coosawattee River Resort. The small onetime fee gets you into the resort and we cover the rest for you. There is an indoor swimming pool, two outside pools (open Memorial Day through Labor Day) fitness center, miniature golf, tennis and basketball courts, fishing pond, and multiple river access points for swimming, tubing or fishing. You can put a tube in at the city park and float back home (It’s a full day four to five hours).
Conveniently located just a few miles from downtown Ellijay; shopping and restaurants are just minutes away. Everything from waterfalls to wineries with day trips to Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Amicalola Falls State Park, Ocoee whitewater rafting, Carters Lake and miles of hiking and biking trails all right in your back yard.
