Very nice house
We had a great time. House was a great size and very nice. We will definitely be staying there again.
Overall a nice vacation stay... 2 or 3 car parking not bad...big party back patio.. nice.. goodtogo
Awesome spot... right where you want to be. Whole family had a great time. Perfect distance from the nightlife and the day aventures in town or on the water.. Or just stay put and do your thing on the beach...
And much thanks to Gary the property owner for hooking me up with a great mechanic to fix my truck so I could get back home.
It was great!
The house was clean and spacious, beds were very comfortable, right on the beach. The only problem was the oven didn't heat up so when we went to cook the spare ribs we brought down we had to use the grill. But to be fair we could have contacted Gary who lives down there full-time but we didn't bother since we were fine using the grill. Gary is very friendly and checked in on us to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Definitely would stay again.
The house is situated on a part of the beach that has very few rocks, which is always a priority for us when we stay in las conchas. The house its self was your standard puerto penasco house on the beach little dated with a great view. Gary lives nearby and drops in once you have been situated to make sure everything is going well with your stay, very nice guy. The only thing that I would say needs some work is that the kitchen has the absolute bare minimum as far as utensils for cooking, we were still able to cook our basic meals. It is most likely a newer rental so overtime i'm sure that will change.
We enjoyed our beach stay at this house. You can’t get any closer to the beach here! It was perfect for our family. (4adults/3kids) Two of the 3 bedrooms are facing the ocean side and have sliding doors. We kept them open a bit at night to hear the waves and let the cool breeze blow through.
Though we didn’t use them, there are grills available for use. The outdoor shower and hose were ideal to keep children from bringing half the beach in with them. The patio was perfect for am coffee. We watched the dolphins interact up close and personal with some kayakers.
This place could definitely use some updating in decor and available cookware/dishware/towels etc, but we got it done. Also of note the kitchen needed a deep clean (food spilled down cabinet faces), but in defense of the place I’m guessing we followed a crew of mighty spring breakers. We had a brown set of towels in the bathroom that had a hole and unraveling seams. I did laundry though and noticed a very nice fluffy blue set ready to go! Sliding doors move a bit roughly, but I know salt water wreaks havoc on anything it touches.
Gary did stop by to ensure was all going well and tried to get the sliding doors back on track. All in all we would definitely stay here again and look forward to our next beach trip! I will try to add some pictures that illustrate that you literally steps from sand.
Super fun Spring Break!
We rented this house for Spring Break with our college kids. It was the perfect! The house has everything you need: great fridge for keeping beers cold, beach front access, and a deck big enough for corn hole. Gary was very helpful and accommodating. We would rent here again.
