Clean and cozy

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at The Graham House. The home is close to a variety of restaurants and bars which was convenient. It was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Our dogs loved the yard! With my husband being 6’7”, the beds were a little small (didn’t see bed size listed in description) and the mattress was firmer than what we are used to. But we made it work! We never saw the property manager but we could hear him and I’m sure he could hear us which I felt bad about. We tried to tip toe around to cut back on the noise. The walls are a little thin and would be my only complaint. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and it was a nice alternative to a hotel so we could bring our dogs. Thanks for having us!

This is a lovely property!

  • 4 of 5

This rental is well-decorated and clean. Every need was met, and Gabby was responsive and helpful when any problems arose. I was not too pleased to be woken up at 3:00 am by the property manager's TV, which must be situated right under the bedroom. But when they heard me cursing, the TV was turned down right away. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Amazing design and location

  • 5 of 5

We have absolutely loved our stay in Gabby's house!! It has a beautiful modnern and minimalist design. The set up of the house has good flow and there are doors that close off the hall to the bedrooms, which is nice if you've got sleeping babies. The house is super pet friendly with dog bowls provided and a nice fenced in front yard for them.

The most important thing to us for this stay was to have something handicap accessible for my 94 year old grandmother. The house itself was really easy for her to get around. The front entry way is gravel, which isn't very easy to roll over. There is also 1 step to get onto the front porch. My grandmother is only on a walker, so we were able to make do. It I wouldn't recommend it for someone in a wheelchair with no mobility.

We wish the house had 2 bathrooms; sharing a bathrooms with my brothers isn't very fun!

We did not see or hear from the property manager that is on the lower level, but we did hear his dogs barking some.

Overall a amazing stay!! We look forward to staying here again when we are back in Asheville!

Map

West Asheville, a highly sought-after neighborhood, offers a number of hidden gems representing the hip part of the city. As locals, we have found West Asheville to be much more favorable due to its vast population of restaurants, stylish bars, and readily available grocery options. If you are a self-proclaimed foodie, like we are, we highly recommend searching: Biscuit Head (Breakfast; TripAdvisor's #6 restaurant in all of Asheville / 582 dining options), Sunny Point Cafe (Brunch or Lunch; #1 in Asheville!), The Admiral (Dinner; #5), Nine Mile (Jamaican Lunch and Dinner; #13), and The Hop (Dessert; #12). These local spots are all located within 0.7 miles of our home.

Located only six (6) minutes from downtown Asheville, we recommend visiting the numerous breweries, museums, shopping vendors (Asheville Outlets), and trendy restaurants. Lyft and Uber are both available modes of transportation if you find yourself at a few of the local craft breweries. :)
