A comfortable, convenient two bedroom retreat two blocks from Green Lake and charming Greenwood with top notch restaurants, bars, cafes, ice cream and coffee shops, two grocery stores and the Woodland Park Zoo. Excellent Bus service within a couple of blocks with several routes available including express service to downtown Seattle.The rental is the main floor of a split level house with shared front entry with co-host. The house is elevated above the street with free parking in the front and in the back. The 900 square foot living space is open with a living room and dining area and a pullman kitchen. There is a bathroom and two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and large walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a single bed and closet. There is also a clothes closet opposite the bathroom. The lower level has a mother-in-law apartment occupied by the Co-Host. The upper area is separated by a sliding door with a privacy lock (not a security lock).

You will be required to acknowledge acceptance of a rental agreement. The rental agreement will be sent via email.

Also, there are 8 stairs from the street to the entry level and 7 stairs from the entry level to the guest level.

About Ron Loewen

Welcome to our home! We have used Airbnb and VRBO accommodations extensively and have loved the experiences we’ve had and are excited to share a wonderful experience with you. We recently moved in with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter nearby, which has allowed us to open our home to guests.

Kandace and I were born and raised in Seattle and as you would expect love it here.

We grew up skiing and hiking in the cascades, water skiing and sailing on many of the lakes or Puget Sound and enjoying the many world class urban attractions. The mild climate and many outdoor activities along with picturesque surroundings make this an exciting place to live.

Our travels have primarily been in Europe visiting several countries especially France and Italy. Our 8 week tour of Europe, after my retirement, was exciting and a real treat. We have also visited New Zealand on a 3 week self guided tour of primarily the south island.

We were also fortunate to live in the San Juan Islands in the northwest corner of Washington State. We spent 16 years there where I was employed as the County Engineer and Public Works Director. Best of all we were able to raise our two kids in this beautiful and rural environment.
