Home away from home!
We’ve been staying here for several years and feel quite at home every time we visit. The property is very well maintained and meets all of our needs. Love the bathroom renovations! Excellent location! We can walk to the park to start our float and end it right at our condo or walk a few minutes in the other direction for a short 30 minute float. Perfect!
The family had an awesome experience and this is a great spot and property!
Beautiful property & great access to Schlitterbahn & the comal river!
This is our 2nd time to rent this property for our family summer vacation. Suzanne is awesome to work with & always helpful with any suggestions for things to do in the area.
Can we give this property and the property manager 10 stars?
This property is located in the heart of New Brausfels and perfectly nestled between Schiliterbahn and the Comal River. The condo is clean, comfortable and accessible to lots of local businesses. The condos have been here for some time, but the property has been updated: comfy beds, plenty of cookware for vacation needs, and a necessary washer and dryer. We asked the property manager several questions before and during our stay. She was welcoming, informative and clearly has a passion for her service. We were able to relax and enjoy each other with little to no TV time. We played games, sat on the patio, watched the deer, and swim to our delight.
Perfect Location for Family Fun
Everything met and exceeded my expectations. The property is clean and super comfortable for my family of seven. We plan on staying here from now on if possible when we visit the ‘Bahn!
Great place to stay. Very roomy and comfortable. Great view and close to fun things! Loved it!
There are so many things to see and do in New Braunfels and the surrounding area. Schlitterbahn is across the street. The Tube Chute of the Comal River is a 10 minute walk away, or you can rent tubes and catch a shuttle from Rockin’ R next door. The walk to downtown is about half a mile. While downtown be sure to visit Henne Hardware, the oldest hardware store in Texas and Naegelin's Bakery, the oldest bakery in Texas. There are also a number of unique shops, the historical Sophienburg Museum, The Children's Museum, The Train Museum, taverns, and restaurants downtown. Take the children to Landa Park to ride the miniature train through the park, for a picnic, to hike through Panther Canyon, to visit the Founder's Oak that dates back to the 1700s, to swim in the springfed swimming pool, and to hear a summer evening concert at the dance slab. Visit Gruene Hall, the oldest dancehall in Texas, to listen to live music and see where legends like George Strait, Lyle Lovett, and Willie Nelson got started. While in Gruene, visit the General Store and other unique shops, music venues, and restaurants. Take the scenic drive up River Road to Canyon Lake for horseback riding, hiking, and water sports. Plan to spend a day at the San Marcos outlet stores. Natural Bridge Caverns is a short drive away for a day of spelunking. San Antonio is a short drive away to visit the Alamo, River Walk, Six Flags, and Seaworld. Austin is another short drive away to visit the Capitol building, 6th Street and the surrounding area to learn why it is known as the 'Live Music Capitol of the World.' New Braunfels sponsors Wurstfest each year along with many other festivals. You are in the ideal location to enjoy local activities as well as those in the nearby hill country area.
