We had a great time at this property. The location was great. The property was clean and stocked adequately. The host was quick to respond to questions. I would stay there again.
4th with the kids
Wonderful trip. Centralized location perfect walking distance to everything. Very helpful property manager. Four children ages five to thirteen and everyone had a blast. Will book again 😁
Excellent communication, super nice condo and amenities. Will definitely recommend and return
The condo was great and in a lovely location. You're right on the Comal with Texas Tubes within walking distance. The condo had a bunch of room, and fit all of us great! We will definitely stay here again.
Nice wkd getaway!
The condo was nice and clean, and super easy to check in with the property renter. It’s conveniently located by Comal tubing, Schlitterbahn, and only a few minutes to Guadalupe tubing.
Nice place will stay here again well equipped
Very easy to get to everything you can want to do with in 10 minute drive with exception of San Antonio. Place was well equipped.
There are so many things to see and do in New Braunfels and the surrounding area. Schlitterbahn is just over a mile away. The Tube Chute of the Comal River is just down river from the condos, or you can rent tubes and catch a shuttle from Texas Tubes next door. The walk to downtown is about half a mile. While downtown be sure to visit Henne Hardware, the oldest hardware store in Texas and Naegelin's Bakery, the oldest bakery in Texas. There are also a number of unique shops, the historical Sophienburg Museum, The Children's Museum, The Train Museum, taverns, and restaurants downtown. Take the children to Landa Park to ride the miniature train through the park, for a picnic, to hike through Panther Canyon, to visit the Founder's Oak that dates back to the 1700s, to swim in the springfed swimming pool, and to hear a summer evening concert at the dance slab. Visit Gruene Hall, the oldest dancehall in Texas, to listen to live music and see where legends like George Strait, Lyle Lovett, and Willie Nelson got started. While in Gruene, visit the General Store and other unique shops, music venues, and restaurants. Take the scenic drive up River Road to Canyon Lake for horseback riding, hiking, and water sports. Plan to spend a day at the San Marcos outlet stores. Natural Bridge Caverns is a short drive away for a day of spelunking. San Antonio is a short drive away to visit the Alamo, River Walk, Six Flags, and Seaworld. Austin is another short drive away to visit the Capitol building, 6th Street and the surrounding area to learn why it is known as the 'Live Music Capitol of the World.' New Braunfels sponsors Wurstfest each year along with many other festivals. You are in the ideal location to enjoy local activities as well as those in the nearby hill country area.
