This 4BR/2BA Craftsman home retains its 1915 charm while offering modern amenities. The delightful outdoor living space includes a fire pit and deck hemmed in redwoods.

Centrally located between Seattle’s Magnolia and Queen Anne neighborhoods, this home is close to shopping, dining, transportation, and family-friendly fun.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

The main living area retains its 1915 charm with the gas fireplace and tile hearth, large windows, and traditional Craftsman millwork. This comfortable seating area accommodates up to nine guests.

At mealtime, enjoy time together in the dining room, where Arts & Crafts-style details blend seamlessly with a contemporary dining set providing seating for eight, and an additional office area.

Prepare meals for your group in the updated kitchen, complete with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a Viking professional gas stove and dishwasher, and double-door fridge.

Relax in the downstairs den with a 40” flat screen Smart TV and an assortment of games and family entertainment options.

The home sleeps eight among four bedrooms. The master, located on the top floor, has a king-size bed and 45” Samsung Smart TV, plus a separate nursery area for families traveling with infants.

The second bedroom, also located on the upper floor, has a full bed. Bedrooms on this floor share a full bath with a claw-foot tub/shower combination.

There are two more bedrooms on the lower floor, one of which has a full bed, and the other a full-size Murphy bed and study area.

You’ll want to spend most of your time in the outdoor spaces that surround this house. The front deck, with seating for 10 under a shady pergola, affords views of the neighborhood, park, and golf course. There’s also a bistro-style seating area on the front porch that’s a perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee.

Relax under the shade of redwoods in the backyard, where you will find a stainless steel grill and custom-built grilling area with a quartz countertop. Come mealtime, gather at the dining set with seating for 10.

Wander into the garden to discover a quaint pond and secluded seating area ideal for quiet time with a book.

Beautiful neighborhood and great location

This was a great house in a perfect location in Seattle. The house was very clean and comfortable, although it should be noted that there are a lot of stairs and no windows in the downstairs bedrooms. We very much enjoyed the stay, very comfortable beds and the kitchen and outdoor living spaces are awesome

We really enjoyed this house! We used every room as there were 4 of us plus 16 month-old twins; our daughter and her boyfriend only live a mile away so they were also with us most of the time. Nice workable layout and a very well-stocked kitchen. Most meals were cooked at the house using the Viking stove and the backyard BBQ. Wonderful towels in the bathrooms and comfortable beds. We would have loved to have used the front deck, but we had rain and everything out there was wet. The house is located perfectly to get to Ballard or to downtown Seattle. Lots of stairs, but you were rewarded with beautiful views. We were only there for two nights, but definitely will stay longer the next time. We always appreciate finding a house that is comfortable, clean and well-stocked.

Lovely home and very comfortable

We very much enjoyed this lovely older home in a nice neighborhood of Seattle and convenient to shopping and other downtown activities for our Thanksgiving vacation. There are a few items that were a little problematic as we are in our 70's and the claw foot tub/shower was difficult for us to safely get in and out of and there are no safety features like hand rails in case you should fall. A antislip mat would also help and it would be nice to have a bath mat for the upstairs bathroom. The lighting could also be improved as you walk down the final concrete stairs to the driveway and the addition of a hand rail might be helpful as well. Better instructions for using the upstairs t.v. would be great and also for the downstairs gas fireplace.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay and the home was very comfortable.

This house was in the best location! you can get downtown very easy and even see the roof of the spaceneedle. We tried a few neighborhood restaurants as well and that was fun. I would go back to this exact house. The layout was great with the basement level, the kids were able to watch movies, while adults gathered around the fireplace upstairs to talk. Excellent.
