Welcome Home! 5 Minutes from the Xcel Center and Downtown Saint Paul, this spacious home is close to event centers, new restaurants, and lake Phalen! The 3 bedrooms and 3 sofa beds makes this a great getaway for large groups! The decor is charming, and the rooms are spacious and comfy. My favorite parts of the home are the laundry, well appointed kitchen, and parking! Fast wifi, cable TV, and lot's of great amenities make this a great home away from home for your trip to St Paul-Enjoy!

Originally from Green Bay Wisconsin (Go Packers!) I came to the Twin Cities as a student at the U of M, and never left! I absolutely love all that the cities have to offer, and enjoy hosting guests and showing them some of my favorite places! I love all things outdoors, and any excuse to travel :) I have some great bar and coffee shop recommendations!
Rachael purchased this House in 2010

Great space - 5 stars!
Awesome home - perfect for our trip. Place was clean and plenty of space for our group. Close to the palace theater where our concert was at, thank you Rachael for being a great host!
This property was not what we expected, it looks way better in the pictures than it did in person. Everything is worn and shabby. The owner said it was cleaned for us but we vacuumed matted carpets and cleaned cobwebs and spiders on every level. One of the bathrooms is in a musty, damp basement. We have twin 6 month old grandchildren and didn’t feel safe staying here with them. Not only were we out the rental fee, we paid for three rooms for two nights in a hotel to salvage our family weekend. The owner did refund 75% of the cleaning fee so we got a $60 refund. Never Again!
Great location not well kept up.
The host was very helpful in trying to make our stay great. However this home was very run down and not well stocked. There were cobwebs throughout the home and the tiles were literally falling off on the kitchen floor and in the shower.
Hi Melody!! I so appreciate the response, and though we had some issues, it was a pleasure to host you!
Melody asks to check in at noon, after a guest who had been there for a few months/long term stay checked out at 11am. I tried to get the place ready in the small window of time I had, but I just couldn't take care of a lot of the details and neglect that the previous guest at shown. Here are the things we have done to improve:
1. We not have a day in between each guests check out to DEEP CLEAN the entire home, ensuring its in perfect condition for our guests.
2. We have updated the furniture and repainted the interior to upgrade the furnishings and make it much more polished!
Weve had great success since improving the place, and I hope future guests will continue to do so!
If you are a future guest reading this, mention this response to me in our messages and I can give you 20% off of your stay :)
Great stay, great communication with the host.
House was nice and even though it was just me. It would easily sleep 8 people. Didn’t have to worry about going out and buying any essentials. House was provided with everything to accommodate my stay.
This home is beautiful, private, had everything my family needed to get together in Saint Paul. Rachael was such a kind and gracious host.
This neighborhood is one of Saint Paul's best kept secrets! You’ll find some of the city’s best flavors on the East Side—come hungry! From the Korean inspired influences at Cook St. Paul to the try-it-all teaser flights at Tongue in Cheek. From locally roasted coffee with a side of vinyl at Caydence Records and Coffee to grass fed steak and decadently creative plates at The Strip Club Meat & Fish. From a neighborhood favorite pub, Ward 6, to local craft beers at Flat Earth Taproom and Sidhe Brewing Company, you’ll want to try them all
