Little Gasparilla Island is a bridge-less, barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico that is only accessible by boat or water taxi. LGI is residential and does not have any grocery stores or restaurants.
Bunkini is a studio style guest house with a full size kitchen and eat-in dining, sitting room/bedroom combo, and full size bathroom offering accommodations for two. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. All dishes, cooking utensils, pots, and pans. The sitting room/bedroom combo contains a queen size bed, love seat, and additional chair for relaxing at night or reading a book during a summer rain shower.
This charming spot is located centrally on the island. A brief walk from the dock and you arrive at this quaint cottage, and a few steps more you have the waves lapping at your feet. Little Gasparilla Island is approximately 7 miles long and 3 miles across at its widest point. The sandy white beaches provide a picturesque landscape for strolling the beach and finding shell souvenirs to take home to your family and friends. Sunsets in the evening give you the perfect backdrop for those vacation picture memories.
This property has dock space available at dock #42. Pirate's Water Taxi is the main mode of transportation to and from the island if you do not have a personal watercraft. Normal business hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm. There is a fee of $20 minimum one-way (this covers 2 people and luggage), with each additional person costing $10. The captain will run after hours if previously scheduled at an increased rate. This service runs out of Eldred's Marina where parking is available for $6/night.
