Have it all to yourself! 2,000sf charming cottage perfect for couples or families. I have bed space for 6, and 2 twin mattresses that can go on the floor and I'm happy to share air mattresses for others if you would like.
It sits on 1 1/2 acres with only one neighbor. The house has solid, real-wood floors and vaulted, wood-plank ceilings. It is decorated to embrace my Texas heritage with a comfy, rustic feel. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is a large, deep pool, wide, covered lanai, grill, tree swing, tether ball and even a basketball court. And, yes, in the far back part of the yard you will find our chicken coop.
The master bedroom is downstairs with a tv, king size bed and large master bath. The guest bathroom downstairs has a small shower. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with queen beds and tvs. A bathroom separates the two rooms. The house does have wifi. Two of the beds were purchased in June and the 3rd was just bought in September. The property is fenced with an electric gate for added security. You will also be able to enjoy Amazon Alexa throughout the home.
We are a few minutes from the grocery store, gas station, restaurants and pharmacy. And about 5 minutes from Target and other major shopping vendors. It takes about 20-25 minutes to get to the beach. Major area night life at City Place and also at Clematis are directly down Okechobee. Wellington mall and the polo fields are just south of us. If you have kids I recommend a trip to Lion Country Safari. We are 2 1/2 hours from Disney/Universal/Sea World, and we make it a day trip often.
Everyone who comes to visit, takes pictures. The house is just full of charm. And there is enough outdoor space for a game of touch football and all kinds of family fun.
It is on a septic system and uses well water. I have a purification system for the house, and a dedicate RO unit in the kitchen.
*This house is not baby proofed and the stairs have a large gap in the railing at the landing a few steps up that an adult can get through, so plan accordingly for children. You can see what I'm talking about in one of the pictures.
