2 Bed 2 Bath in Historic Sears Crosstown Concourse
WATCH BOX - With two queen bedrooms, two baths and a full kitchen this apartment features a full view of The Plaza, perfect for keeping your eye on the action. There are three other properties available that are part of Layover at Concourse in Memphis, TN.
Sears and Roebuck Company began as a watch sales and repair business. With great vision, the founders parlayed their business into a retail boss. At the Memphis distribution center, watches were kept locked away in a cage located near this Layover apartment. With this retail history in mind, the interior of WATCH BOX is rich with images of the Memphis Sears store and stories about the watch cage as told by former employees.

Everything we expected!
This trendy, repurposed Sears retail and factory space was the perfect place for our visit. Two couples enjoyed the two bedroom/two bath apartment with a view. We had everything we needed and the owners thought of some very nice touches to make us feel at home. This place is located a few minutes from Beale Street and a few minutes from Midtown. We attended the Liberty Bowl and the apartment, the host and the city provided a wonderful experience. We will be back and we will stay in the apartment.
Thanks ya'lll for the kind words!! We welcome you back anytime!!
Brand new apartment in a great location
Three friends and I stayed here for a long weekend in Memphis and it was perfect. The apartment is brand new and everything is as described. Of note, it has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and three great TVs with cable. The apartment has huge windows that look out over the plaza of the Concourse below. The Concourse (the building) itself is newly renovated as well and there are several restaurants and shops on the ground floor (including coffee and ice cream). There was a free parking garage right across the street where we parked our three cars. The location was great. It was in a quiet area, but a short, ten minute Uber ride into Downtown Memphis and Beale Street. Amy was a great host too. She made check-in easy. We arrived at 10:00pm and she had our keys waiting for us in a lock box on the ground floor. She also provided a spare air mattress and welcomed us to the apartment with a six pack of local craft beer in the fridge. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and I will definitely book here next time I'm in Memphis.
