About Vacasa of Coastal Maine

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Quintessential Maine house fifty yards from the dock and lake!

  • 5 of 5

The house is in a secluded area East of Bethel Maine. It is cozy and clean and has everything you need. The dock is perfect for relaxing and the use of the kayak & canoe was the deal maker for us. You can chill at the house and dock as much as you like and there is also plenty to do nearby: Grafton Notch State Park for hiking and swimming, Sunday River for ziplining, and Bethel for restaurants, biking, and tubing.

Camp Road is a charming lake house retreat!

  • 5 of 5

I traveled from MA with 5 of my girl friends. And the lake house could not have been more perfect for our girls weekend! When arriving we were greeted with a very thoughtful gift bag. The house was spotless and spacious. Saturday we spent the whole day on the lake and we were greeted by neighbors on their boats and canoes. The community could not have been more charming and the views on the lake can't be beat! It was so refreshing from our normal city life. I will definitely be booking the lake house again in the future!

Pristine lake in the backyard

  • 4 of 5

It was such a nice place with everything we needed and nestled in the forest beside the lake was such a retreat. Kayak and Paddle boat were such great activities to do in the lake. Fall colors around the lake made it look even more beautiful.

What a beautiful spot!

  • 4 of 5

Sitting on the dock at sunset was just gorgeous...the pictures don't lie. The three boats were a lot of fun, and the lake was a great temperature for swimming. We saw a bald eagle, as well as a nest on one of the islands. The house itself was very clean, spacious and comfy. While it feels secluded and woodsy, it's not too far to Bethel. We had a great weekend. Kirk was very helpful. Our only (minor) complaint was that the kitchen could have been better equipped with cooking knives, food processor, garlic press, more serving bowls, pots and pans, and maybe plastic glasses to bring down to the dock. We would definitely love to return. One word of caution: Get directions from Kirk before hand. Google maps was not accurate!
