Casa De Las Fuentes is truely one of Puerto Vallartas best kept secrets !
The house is outstanding we had a great time everything was excellent, the beach in Garza Blanca is beautiful. Once again thank you for the hospitality.
What an amazing place. Everything is absolutely amazing, beautiful gardens, the high lookout from the roof top balcony is tremendous. Very comfortable and beautifully and very tastefully laid out and decorated. Easy access to town and the beaches, taxi was there within 5 min. Great restaurants close, great kitchen facilities. This place has it all!
The property is breathtakingly beautiful and Paul couldn't have been a better host. Everything was well appointed and thought out, down to the last detail. Beautiful art work, peaceful fountains, and an open living room made us want to stay in the house all day and relax by the pool. Chuy and her cooking are a killer bonus to the place. I would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a beautiful house in the PV area!
The beautiful villa surpassed our expectations! Wow! The landscaping was spectacular; the villa was perfect; and we loved all the charming fountains. The panoramic view from the rooftop patio is stunning. All the bedrooms are nicely decorated with each having a private bath. The kitchen is great and stocked with everything you need. The beach is just a short walk. I highly recommend to anyone going to Puerto Vallarta!
We arrived and OMG what a beautiful entrance with the fountain and great garden off to the side. I knew this was going to be a great place before I walked in the door. Once inside I felt like we did not have to go anywhere else. The pool overlooks the ocean and Los Arcos. Each bedroom has a lovely bath and all very private. The view from the roof top into Puerto Vallarta at night is stunning. The beach is a short walk and there is a guard at the bottom of the hill when you come up to the villa. I felt very safe and had such a great time! I will definitely be back.
We arrived for a romantic week by passing through a secure guard house and up a European cobbled style winding road to the top of the hill at the House of Fountains (Casa de las Fuentes). We did not know much about the magic of Mexico and this place overlooking the gentle Pacific in the Bay of Banderas.. As we walked up the steps to this Spanish Colonial villa, we were met by the soft sound of a splashing patio fountain, one of five on this property. Before we even entered through the handbuilt arched doors, we had to spend a moment in the amazingly lush private walled garden. It was truly what we had hoped-a garden paradise designed by a professional landscaper brought in from the United States to transform a former mango plantation into a garden of Eden - banana trees, three kinds of palm trees and more exotic flowering plants than we had ever seen. Parrots chattered from the trees, and pelicans and graceful frigate birds circled overhead. Entering the red tile roofed Villa, we found cool stucco walls and vaulted ceilings and more bubbling indoor fountains. A climb up the sweeping staircase to the master suite, and we were overlooking our private swimming pool and a dramatic view twenty miles out over the Pacific Ocean. As the sunset turned the villa to pinks and purples, we made creamy guacamole from 10 cent avacodos we found in the old town market, and grilled fresh five inch Pacific prawns on the outdoor grill. And that was just the first afternoon! The Villa has three hand tiled Mexican bathrooms, so we took a shower in all three during the week! We were awakened by tropical birds calling each morning, along with soft rustling of the gardeners. Each night we were personally greeted by Fidel, the security for the property as we walked home from the five star restaurant at Garza Blanca beach. Of the properties we have stayed at on three continents, this one is by far the one for us. We will be back next March to see the Hump backed whales migrating through the Bay!
