Copper Mountain's Best! Ski-in/ski-out! Call for Last Minute Discounts!

About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6)

You just can't get any closer to the mountain and lifts. If you were taking a beach vacation, would you want to stay on the beach or a block away? Staying here is like being in the water!

This building recently underwent a massive renovation. There is no better location at Copper and now there is no better building. The Lodge has long been Copper's most popular building and now it has an appearance to match its superior location. We've also done some remodeling inside the condo - all new kitchen, with new maple cabinets, granite counters, stone tile floors, and all new appliances. The entire condo has been freshly painted. We're ready for another great season at Copper.

I also have an identical unit just upstairs from this one - although we do not allow any pets in that condo. Our policy on pets is that there must be no sign that a pet was there during your stay. Pet requests are unusual during the winter months but we must be mindful of the next guest, so we ask that any dog hair be vacuumed before your departure, prior to our cleaning crew giving it a second vacuuming. As long as there is no sign a pet has been in the condo, there is no extra charge!

For larger groups check my other VRBO Listings - #8858 and #11844 for availability - both of them are 3 bedroom condos that will sleep 14/16. I also have another 3 bedroom condo next door to my listing #8858, so we can sleep up to 30! Between all of my condos we can accomodate as many as 55 people!!!

Others claim to offer ski-in/ski-out lodging. Ask them if you can ski right from the building to the lifts and can you ski right back home again. That is true ski-in/ski-out with no carrying skis (or kids' skis) to the nearest lift. The Lodge at Copper and Copper Mountain Inn (see my listing number 11844, if you have a larger group) are the only true ski-in/ski-out buildings at Copper. If you're going to ski Copper Mt., you might as well stay in the best location available at the lowest owner direct rates.

Call now as Copper Mountain is quickly booking the prime dates for the 2013-2014 ski season. With 2,433 acres of skiable terrain, Copper Mountain is the biggest and least crowded mountain resort area in Summit County, Colorado.

Despite being the biggest, it has the least amount of lodging units available which is the main reason for Copper's uncrowded lifts and runs. With its naturally divided ski terrain that separates skiers by ability across the mountain, Copper has been called 'the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the U.S.' by the U.S. Forest Service.

It’s also known as the Local’s Favorite. Perhaps that’s due to Copper’s long, steep mogul runs, its ample above-timberline open bowl skiing, or its long, groomed easier runs.

The Lodge at Copper is a one bedroom, one bath unit that sleeps six. This building has been called Copper's most requested location by central reservations. The Lodge is located on its own private drive, though still in the Center Village. There is no building closer to the American Flyer Lift and just a few more steps to the American Eagle - Copper's two main lifts in the Center Village also known as the New Village at Copper. A true ski-in, ski-out, beautifully maintained building with an outdoor Jacuzzi tub. Indoor underground heated parking space.

Balcony with view to the lift and up the mountain, one of Copper Mountain's most desired locations. Bedroom with king bed, living area with queen sleeper sofa and bunk bed. 24 Hour check-in and free wireless password protected internet service!!!

This was the perfect location or a ski trip! We were able to send older kids on the mountain and use Copper's fabulous app to track where they were and use this condo as a meeting point for lunch/nap and head back out. I really feel you can not beat the location of this condo!

My only gripe is that we were given one extra roll of toilet paper! This is a condo that sleeps 6 people! We were there for 4 days! One night we had a little one get sick, he used all the toilet paper and the instructions said to run to the store and get toilet paper if extra paper supplies were needed! Are you kidding me- grrr! If you are not going to provide housekeeping, atleast give enough supplies in cases like this. So when everyone else woke up they were left with no tp, as the stores hadn't opened yet.

But the location is fabulous, next time I'll just pack a few extra rolls!

very nice ski in/out option

Paul, was very helpful and understanding when we locked our keys in the room. Would definitely stay here again. We have been to Copper several times and it was great not to have to carry our skis back and forth to the lifts each day.

Very convenient to everything.

  • 4 of 5

The Lodge is a great location for ski in/out. Skiing back in was a little tricky if coming from the east side of the mountain. Nice underground parking garage but had to remove the skis from a large SUV to get under the garage door. Elevator and luggage carts were very handy. One small nice hot tub on the deck. Seemed to be kept clean. Also there is a nice but very small sauna. Ski lockers are outside. No skis allowed inside. Lockers have keypad on door but you need a key to open the locker itself. Would be nice if lockers opened with a coded padlock or something since the only key had to be left in the condo so everyone could access the lockers when they were done skiing.

The condo was nice but small. Would not recommend 6 people in this condo. The queen bed and bunks were comfortable and plenty of blankets and pillows. Didn't check out the hide-a-bed. The condo was clean except for the fireplace and the windows. The damper on the fireplace wouldn't close. The kitchen could use a few more amenities. i.e. more wine glasses, bowls, more dish towels, maybe foil, baggies, etc. We even had to buy salt and pepper. Plenty of bath towels, shampoo, and conditioner but no soap. Dining table isn't in very good condition. Some chips in tile floor. Lighting is pretty bad. One lamp didn't even have a bulb in it. No information, reading material, or games in the condo, not even a deck of cards. Quiet except for groomers during the night and delivery trucks backing up early in the morning. Very basic, not luxurious, condo but would probably stay here again because of the convenience to the slopes and center village.

Fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

The lodge at copper is on the west edge of center village close to the american flyer lift up against the mountain. This unit faces the mountain. From the deck, it has the feel of a private secluded mountain cabin. You have a lot more space here than in the new center village buildings passage point, tucker mnt, Taylor crossing, and copper one. There is an alcove off the living room with bunk beds. The owner communicated promptly with us for all our questions. Conveniently we went straight to the unit on arrival and did not have to make any stops to pick up keys or "check in."

I would absolutely stay here again

Beyond Expected

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had the greatest stay at Copper Mountain because this condo is perfect. It was so roomy and cozy that we were excited to head home at the end of each day. Its location made enjoying Copper's amenities a piece of cake. Not to mention how effortless it was to get on and off the mountain. As the listing states, "truly ski-in ski-out." don't pass this one up.

Perfect location for ski vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at this condo twice.... spring break 2010 and spring break 2009. The location is simply the best on the mountain! We ski home for lunch every day and are able to get right back out. The unit is comfortable, well stocked, and warm. Having ski lockers in the garage basement is so convenient. We are not able to get our car in the garage without taking off the Thule (so we take it off and carry it in) but having the heated garage is a real benefit. Paul (the owner) is extremely nice to deal with. We hope to come back again next ski season! Thanks Paul!
