Copper Mountain's Best! True Ski-in/ski-out!Center Village! Lowest Rates!

Bedrooms 3
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 1 - 3 nights

About the property

Condo, 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath, (Sleeps 14)

Copper Mountain Inn - referred to as 'Highest on the Mountain,' is your base for one of Copper's ONLY TRUE SKI-IN/SKI-OUT locations. You just can't get any closer to the mountain and lifts. If you were taking a beach vacation, would you want to stay on the beach or a block away? Staying here is like being in the water!

Others claim to offer ski-in/ski-out lodging. Ask them if you can ski right from the building to the lifts and can you ski right back home again. That is true ski-in/ski-out with no carrying skis (or kids' skis) to the nearest lift. Copper Mountain Inn and The Lodge at Copper (see my listing number 11843, if you have a smaller group) are the only true ski-in/ski-out buildings at Copper.

If you're going to ski Copper Mt., you might as well stay in the best location available at the lowest owner direct rates. If you want the best views Copper has to offer and just a short walk to the lifts, check our VRBO listing number 8858.

Call now as Copper Mountain is quickly booking the prime dates for the 2013-2014 ski season. With 2,433 acres of skiable terrain, Copper Mountain is the biggest and least crowded mountain resort area in Summit County, Colorado. Despite being the biggest, it has the least amount of lodging units available which is the main reason for Copper's uncrowded lifts and runs. With its naturally divided ski terrain that separates skiers by ability across the mountain, Copper has been called 'the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the U.S.' by the Forest Service.

It’s also known as the Local’s Favorite. Perhaps that’s due to Copper’s long, steep mogul runs, or its ample above-timberline open bowl skiing.

This Copper Mountain Inn spacious condo is a three-bedroom, three bath unit, that sleeps up to 14. This unit has on-site management for easy check-in. This is one of Copper Mountain's most requested locations. If you need more space, just ask. I may be able to secure more units in the same building.

Three balconies (one of them extra-large and glass-enclosed) to wooded view and the peaks of the Ten Mile Range. True ski-in, ski-out unit within steps of the American Eagle Lift. Indoor underground heated garage. 24 hour check-in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Paul for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful condo. You were a delight to deal with. I felt compelled to write this review having seen what someone else wrote about your place. It is exactly as it's described. It's a mountain lodge and has that feel to it. It's obvious most of what's in the condo is new but it's meant to look exactly as it appears in the photos. It's not the glitz of the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons as the owner proudly stated in a conversation, it's exactly what people look for at Copper Mountain - a great ski-in/ski-out location at the base of the mountain at the main lift and a place large enough to accommodate our group of 12 comfortably for 5 days and nights. Everything worked and it was spotlessly clean. And we had no problems with the sleeper sofas. They're sleeper sofas, they aren't plush top Stearns and Foster or Marriot mattresses, but they're fine. We loved this place and given the chance, we'll definitely be back. That last review was really unfair. 2 stars because you didn't like the decorating? Did you even look at the photos? Paul, thanks again. We have memories that will last a lifetime with the kids and mom and dad. You were right - you really can spray the building with snow in stopping with a fast approach as it really is that ski-in!!! We were careful. We got some great video of this! Best wishes to you and yours.

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. I appreciate your opinion on that last review also. It happens every once in awhile, fair or not. I thought it was unfair also Almost 20% of our guests have stayed with us before. That’s the best review I can ask for - when people like our place enough to return. Having said that, you are welcome to return anytime :) PS. We keep saying we’re going to video that ski-in approach. Next time for sure!

needs updating

  • 2 of 5

This condo has potential if it would be updated. It has OK space, however everything is outdated and should be updated. It has an 80's feel to it. The beds didn't sleep well, the hideaway couches you could feel every spring, better off sleeping on the floor. The location is good, easy access to the lifts, walking distance to everything. Next time I would probably stay somewhere else and have more updated living quarters.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

  • 2 of 5

The condo was in a nice location, but we had a very difficult time getting into the lockbox to get our card key. After calling the manager listed in the paperwork, we were told he is no longer the manager so we struggled till we could pry open the box.

Very nice towels and plenty of plates and cutlery. The large dining table was a plus for a large group. The kitchen could use more pots and pans for the large amount that can stay there.

The ugly part of the condo was the bedrooms. The bed in the large bedroom was dubbed the "banana bed" because of its broken bed frame which makes the bed sink in the middle. The pillows were horrible and the layout of the two smaller bedrooms was very deceiving in the picture. We had no idea they were connected rather than having their own doors to the living room.

Heat control was non-existent and it was a bummer being in the mountains and snow without a working fireplace. Overall, this condo would not be our first choice to stay next time we visit Copper Mountain.

Copper mountain inn

Room set up is great for multi-family. Really like the 3 separate entrances. Location is great also. Ski school for kids were less than 25yds from the door.
